I've never really been into fanfic...until I started reading Kim Harrison's the Hollows. So now I write Hollows fanfic, though I started out only writing Trench, our darling Big Al has now thoroughly snatched my heart. I seem to be writing mostly Al/Rachel (Ral?), but Trench still gets some screen time, occasionally. I've written my own stuff forever, but the long wait periods between the releases of my favorite urban fantasy author's books (I love you Kim!) has compelled me to fill the long, lonely months writing and reading fanfiction. Is it February yet? Please god, let it be February...again?

I'm not cheating for reals...but I finally wrote a fan fiction for Chronicles of Elantra, a series written by Michelle Sagara. YAY CoE fics are growing, it's a revolution! However, this small number STILL offends me and I mean to remedy it! I won't rest until we are in the triple digits!

About me: I adore well-written fantasy and sci-fi, especially books that challenge popular assumptions about these generally marginalized genres, but I will read anything and will try any author. I am a night owl, a vegetarian, and a semi-crazed writer hiding in a library and now a 100% crazed grad student who just wants to get some sleep =/

Update: It's my goal now to finish Roommates...before the next book comes out and turns the Hollows world upside down. I'm outlining/writing/procrastinating four to five chapters to bring it to completion so I won't feel horrible with leaving it undone. If there is something you want to see happen or something you are dying of curiosity over, message me or write it in a review.
