4/21/2012: I want to thank all of my lovely readers who've followed my misadventures through fanfic writing thus far. However, I'm going to be deleting a few stories, as reading over them now is making me realize that they are grossly out-of-character and badly written. I've improved vastly within the last few years. I apologize.

My name is Alyssa. I aspire to become a bestselling author one day, and I've written various original works. I'm in the midst of brainstorming about a trilogy which I've grown to call Utopia, and I intend on taking part in the National Novel Writing Month Camp in August with it.

Other than writing, I dedicate the other chunks of my life to marching band, watching movies, reading books, roleplaying, and listening to music. I've been playing the clarinet for nearly five years for my city's musical programs, and I'm a musician and a performer at heart.

Perhaps it's a typical thing to say I have problems, but man, I have problems. Most of them begin with celebrities who possess life-ruining capabilities and end with my sleeping habits. I also have a tendency to become ridiculously emotionally attached to fictional characters and pairings alike.
