Well, so here I am again. I've been gone from for over a year, and it feels like much longer than that. I have a job now, in South Korea, and it sucks the life right out of me. I get up at 5 am every morning, 5:30 if I'm lucky. No joke. This is why I haven't had time to write. Although having writer's block for over a year is SERIOUS MURDER. I will seriously go crazy if I don't write something. Maybe fanfiction will help. Maybe not. I'll never know if I don't try.

Some nice people have been reviewing/PMing me. Thank you so much, I wish I could send you an actual gift from Korea to show my gratitude. Just for you, I'll try to come up with another chapter of Foundations.

Saw "The Dark Knight Rises" today. Seriously conflicted about it. It's a brilliant movie. But I have issues with it. I posted a review up on here, if you want to see. Just beware the spoilers, okay? Does anyone else have the same issues with this movie?

My fanfiction:

Although a lot of my fanfiction is interconnected, please note that readers generally don’t have to read the entirety of it in order to enjoy it. The stories are designed to stand on their own. In order to enjoy them, all you need is to have watched Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. Because they were written prior to the third movie, The Dark Knight Rises is unnecessary to enjoy them.

If the Foundations be Destroyed is a continuation of The Dark Knight, taking place roughly seven months after the end of the movie. It contains several original characters, who, although being important to the story, do not “take over” and make the story their own: I believe that fan-fiction ought to be about the characters in the original fiction, otherwise it wouldn’t be fanfiction. At the same time, however, I do enjoy well-written original characters so long as they add to the Batman mythos (instead of consuming or detracting from it), which is why there are original characters in there

Jeremiah’s Well takes place in an alternate universe to Foundations, one in which Batman was captured and placed in Arkham. Because it is an alternate universe, it contains the same original characters, and some events are contiguous.

Wrong is a oneshot that has the possibility to one day become a chaptered story, though I’m too busy to continue with it at the moment (so it could just end up being a plain old oneshot). It is also connected to Foundations, but this is actually unimportant to the story itself.
