A fairy is generally seen as good, also called a pixie, or a sprite, or a million other things.

An imp is what you might call a fallen fairy; a dark fairy. We all have the potential for good and evil, and have the freedom to relabel themselves as they wish. While many would call a dark or a fallen fairy an imp, I choose to say it as exactly what it is.
