I'm not incapable of writing in third, and sometimes I do, but I am best at writing in first. I like to describe emotions and dialogue, and I also like to create psychologically disturbing scenes that either scare or sadden the reader. I'm usually quite bad at describing places and inanimate objects, but I've recently started improving when it comes to place/thing descriptions. I excel at describing persons or other living entities, though, and I also love delving into backstories. My favorite genres to write for are romance, angst, horror, and hurt/comfort, but I also find myself writing humour and friendship a lot more often than you'd expect from someone who spends all their time pondering how they should make a certain character suffer like I seem to be prone to doing. |
