Withdrawals are going to be a real bitch I have a feeling. Alcohol withdrawals can even cause hallucinations as I understand it. So Freed's got his work cut out for him in getting Laxus cleaned up. It's really sad to see that the Raijin are at odds like this. Really hope that things will settle down and Bicks, Ever, and Laxus can work out their differences once things have mellowed for a bit.

Well I am glad that Freed is making strides, even though it is going to take some time for Freed's memories to return, if they ever do. Sad that Laxus is so obviously upset to see his former teammates in his place, and I have no doubt that Evergreen hugging Freed is making things far worse in the drunken muddle of Laxus mind. Glad to see you back to work on this story. I had begun to think it was abandoned as happens with so many tales on fan fiction sites.

What'd you stop there for!

Well done transition in POV solidness and transitions plus a nice chapter over all. Will be intriguing to see how the barrier in Freed's mind gets broken in the end. I get the impression that Laxus connection to Freed is going to be a bit of a problem for that spell, and will be a key to getting rid of the barrier that is blocking Freed's memories. However, it is going to be a very painful recovery if the new incedent of Freed's barrier making him feel such agony is any indicator. Hope his shriek does not make Laxus back way and fall deeper into despair before things get sorted out.

Man i hate bixanna and elfgreen TT_TT , but this is a pretty good story, I hope you continue this.

Looks like Freed's original instincts are kicking in even if his memories have zero recall of what draws him to Laxus specifically. It is as if Freed's heart and emotions are coming out of their dormant state. I find myself wondering whether or not the old emotions trying to surface will somehow help Freed return to himself or if the Alexander personality will simply be softened as the original emotions toward his previous teammates will make things calmer so that Alex can ultimately help them rebuild their broken friendships and forge a new connection with a few adjustments.

The way Laxus has decided that Freed's home is with him gave me a big grin. If anyone can get Laxus to stop drinking around the clock, it would be Freed. Having to take care of of his long missing friend and crush may very well be the best way to get Laxus to wean off his booze habit to drown his sorrows.

I have a feeling that Bicks and Ever have just stepped into a very lively mind field by demanding that Freed stay with either one of them until Laxus truly sobers up for good. I don't think they realize that Freed's the key to getting LAxus back to normal and with Freed starting to feel the nostalgia of being around Laxus already, I think Laxus is the key to unlocking and releasing Freed's original memories too.
