Some things you should know about me...

I love to write (duh, why else would I be using this site???) and I especially love writing fantasy.

I also love to write poems, but you prob'ly won't see too many of those.

If anyone wants to see anything in any of my stories, just let me know...

I squeal with happiness when I see "New Review" in my mailbox.

I love using "...", and I like big words.

AND... I am a grammar freak. That's just who I am, and I apologize in advance if I bug anyone incessantly about all the grammar mistakes they've made.

Maybe I should teach grammar when I grow up. But I bet all my students will end up hating me.

The Dance

When peeping through

The curtain,

She sees them

Restlessly waiting

For her.

Fear,

The heartless monster

That He is,

Seizes her body,

Paralyzing her.

But when the curtain rises,

The faces

Fade away.

The music begins,

And she starts

To dance.

She is flying

Higher than she ever thought she could.

She hears,

As if from a great distance,

The final strains of the aria,

And she balances,

On the very tip

Of her toe.

She knows she has performed

Perfectly,

Because the faces are back,

Pure joy radiating from their smiling faces.

And she cannot help but

Smile back.
