I've loved writing ever since I can remember. Nerdy through and through. Before I joined , I used to write fanfiction in my free time for myself, and a while ago when Rocket Power was still on the air, I wrote fanfics on the Rocket Power message board on the Nickelodeon message boards. Hah.

'Hard To Control Myself'

Show: PPG. Summary: Now that Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup are old enough, they go to a teen club. At first its exciting and fun, but they soon find that there are some unexpected guests. Upon contact with these guests, what will life be like for these heroines?

Status: Complete!

My feel on it: This was my first ever completed fanfiction. I wrote it when I was very young, and so since then it has gone through many revisions and much editing. I have just recently done another revision sweep through the story (in 2016). I think with these revisions, I'm okay with letting Hard to Control Myself be for now and just letting it exist as is. I've accepted that it's never gonna be perfect, and I've tried to do all I can to fix it so it's not agonizing for me knowing that people are still reading it, flaws and all. As old as it is, and as old as I was when I wrote it, there'll likely always be issues with it, and I'm okay with that. And even despite it's issues, I still love this story very much. 'Realize'

Show: Rocket Power Summary: With maturation comes change, and the Rocket gang has been through much. How much different are their lives six years after we last saw them? And how do they handle the change? "But I can't spell it out for you. No, it's never gonna be that simple."

Status: (Edit 7/1/2015): Complete!

My feel on it: I got this idea way back in 2007, and I wrote the draft for the first chapter back then. The story is now completed, and I'm very, VERY satisfied with how it turned out overall. Getting to write a story through (mostly) the point of view of one of my favorite cartoon characters of all time, Twister Rodriguez, was a fun experience. It was also my first story ever where my protagonist was a guy, and it was super fun (and sometimes challenging). This story will always have a very special place in my heart, just like Rocket Power will.

'Losing Control' (Hard to Control Myself Sequel/Companion)

Show: PPG. Summary: During their seemingly regular first year of college, the Powerpuff Girls' and Rowdyruff Boys' lives change in ways they could have never imagined. "We can know only that we know nothing. And that is the highest degree of human wisdom." -Leo Tolstoy.

Status: (Edit 05/2017): Complete!

My feel on it: (Edit 08/2015): Losing Control is different from Hard to Control Myself. It's darker, it's more thrilling, and the stakes in this story are higher than they ever were in Hard to Control Myself. It's really intense. The PPG and RRB are more mature than they are in the first story, and they go through more than people might expect.

If I had to make comparisons: Hard to Control Myself is like a high school drama TV show. Losing Control is more of a cable drama TV show with a higher budget (ahahahaha). Still the same characters you know and love, but things are bigger than them this time around. Hard to Control Myself is what happens when you fall madly in love with your soul mate and then they shatter your heart. Losing Control is what happens when things feel great and then life comes and screws you over and you feel like you're no longer in control.

This story is everything that I had planned in my head for all these years and more. It may be the most significant thing that I've written so far. I hope all of my hard work shows. And most of all, I hope that you guys will love this story even half as much as I do. And after such a wait, I hope that it won't let you guys down.

Also, my aim is to make this be more of a companion story than a sequel, meaning that it can be read without reading HTCM first. Since so many years have gone by since I published the first story, and quite a bit about my writing style (and skills) has changed since then, it's perfectly okay to read this story without reading the first one. The little details in the first story aren't that important in this one, and honestly, the tones of the 2 stories are night and day. So if you choose not to start with HTCM, you won't miss too much!

'Emotion' (Formerly 'Cry Baby')

Show: Steven Universe. Summary: A collection of drabbles/ficlets from the world of Steven Universe. Involves characters all over the SUverse, some canon, some not.

My feel on it: It's mostly just experimental, random fun. Of course, I lack the self control to make them actual true drabbles, so the words in each go over 100 words; some by a little, some by a LOT(which makes them ficlets and not drabbles). Nevertheless, super fun for me! Also, this collection marks the first time--YES, the first--that I've by and large written in first present tense instead of first past tense. A slight challenge outside of what I'm used to, all in all, and it's been a blast.

EDIT (12/27/2017): I made the decision to revise this collection top to bottom, to remove all of the musical influence it drew from the album 'Cry Baby', due to the disturbing accusations made against the artist in question. At first I was strongly tempted to just wipe this fic off the face of the planet and delete it forever and ever. But I knew that wasn't fair to those of you who may have enjoyed a couple of these ficlets for what they are. I'm a writer, but I'm also a human being. And as a creator, I need to be mindful of how my art may affect other people, specifically readers. So ultimately, I knew this (a revamp) was the right decision to make for myself and for others.

Finally, I've finished revisions for it, and honestly and truly, I like it a lot more now than I did before. It kind of feels like this is how this collection was supposed to be like to begin with.

With this revamp of the collection as simply emotion/feeling themed, I’ve decided I’ll keep this collection open and add to it now and then. Now that I don’t have a particular set number of ficlets in mind (now that it’s not strictly based off of a tracklist of an album), there’s actually a wide range of themes that I could write about.

There's nothing that I love more than reading and writing. While I dream to one day hopefully become a published writer and get paid to do what I love, in the meantime, I enjoy it for free.
