Author has written 4 stories for Mass Effect, and Dragon Age. I am a voracious reader first off, second I am a dreamer. Third, I am going to school again for a game design degree. Forth, writing helps me get my creativity going. Fifth, I am probably old enough to be a lotta your mamas :P Age is just a number ;) I love the Mass Effect games for the most part. The ending had me raging though and the way things were handled. So wrong on so many levels. But enough about that. The ME universe is rich already in current history but not a lot was really dictated but for the time line events. Well that gave me a huge playground to jump into and I have. I like well done stories. Ones that are plausible without seeming to be randomly stupid. And by randomly stupid, I mean the characters get everything they need and want without any issue. Poof you want a nuke, you got it. Ugh. Ok and there's a crap load of femShep stuff here. It is fine really but seriously, do you guys really have to overstuff the stories. Male Shep is a great char too. I dislike all those stories that follow the games exactly to the T. Come on guys, we all played the games. We can recite the whole thing from beginning to end without you repeating it. Have some creativity and imagination. Another dislike is all this background info. You have it, you don't need to stuff it into your reader's faces. That's the best way to make me dislike a story if its well written and then you get these chapters after chapters of stuff like alliance ship classes and engine types and crew breakdown. Gods, please. That is extraneous shit no one wants. I have a series of stories planed. The first one has already been written and finished(See below). Alex is a unique and interesting woman to write about and I enjoy doing the first chapter from her perspective then going to third person. I am not sure how many have actually read my story but I have a few that have commented and I really appreciate that.
