Author has written 10 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, and Tangled.

Update July 1, 2008: Hullo! Just wanted to let anyone here know that I am currently in Thailand doing research. Of late I've been to busy to really read or write much fanfiction, but last night I thought to myself, "I haven't been spending as much time as I'd like on lately. Maybe now that it's summer, I can." So here I am. Still working on The Same We Have Achieved (very slowly, sorry). I think I might be getting somewhere with it, but no promises on that. However, to get back into the habit of writing, I will try to do more one-shots, if I can. I might be busy in the lab, but I'll at least try.

After many months of lurking about the C. S. Lewis fandom, I have finally joined Fanfiction.net! Huzzah!

...okay, now that I've said that, here are a few things about me:

My username, Theophila, means "lover of God". As the name implies, I am a Christian. Which means:

1. I do not ever read (or write) slash.

2. I do not ever read (or write) incest.

1 Corinthians 6:8-10 (New International Version)

9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

Not only are slash and incest just plain wrong, but they aren't canon! C. S. Lewis held the same beliefs about such things. (Read Mere Christianity if you don't believe me.) I'm not going to start ranting in a review or anything like that, but this is my profile and so I think I'm allowed to rant a little here.

I am actually in the process of writing my first long fanfic. It's working title is The Same We Have Achieved and so far I've done one whole chapter. (Yay.) It's based off this quote from LWW:

“Madam,” said King Peter, “therein I pray thee to have me excused. For never since we four were Kings and Queens in Narnia have we set our hands to any high matter, as battles, quests, feats of arms, acts of justice, and the like, and then given over; but always what we have taken in hand, the same we have achieved.”
