Guest chapter 1 . 9/25/2013 This piece is startlingly beautiful and vivid in its imagery. The description of both Peter and Edmund is exactly how I remember them in the movie. The truth you reveal about the witch's plans, once she is free, is also well done and true to her evil character. (applauds) :) |
MrRobertsIII chapter 1 . 9/12/2013 Nicely done |
MCH chapter 1 . 9/23/2012 Oh very good I often wonder that if Jadis was killed by Aslan all he could kill was her body. her soul because of the Apple she stole from Aslan Garden during the Magician Nephew made her soul immortal and that Aslan could not kill. Hence the " darkness." and that Jadis did "not know how long it lasts, only that it is darkness, deep, depthless. Endless." The endless darkness was her punishment for what she did. |
WillowDryad chapter 1 . 6/10/2012 That is more than brilliant. Bravo! |
Shadowcatisajerk chapter 1 . 4/13/2012 Great imagery. |
lifechiaroscuro chapter 1 . 9/20/2011 Great story. I agree, that's probably pretty much what Jadis was thinking at that time, and you managed to make it sound not so twisted yet not take away from how manipulative and depraved she is. |
puregarnet chapter 1 . 6/5/2010 Nice. |
foreverkneeld chapter 1 . 5/29/2010 Oh! Magnificent, absolutely stunning. |
LadyoftheShield chapter 1 . 5/12/2010 Amazing! Perfect title, The last line was awesome! |
BakerStreetIsLastRefugeOfHope chapter 1 . 10/15/2009 A great story. Very good. |
nooziewoozie chapter 1 . 6/4/2009 Brilliant. I love how you draw a comparison between destruction and death. Her greed and want are hauntingly palpable, Peter's desperation keenly felt, and Edmund...well, he's just sexy _ He was always my favorite Pevensie. Thank you for sharing this. I really, really enjoyed it. |
news to the maxx chapter 1 . 3/24/2009 so so good:) i love that its from her point of view and how she refers to edmund as 'The Boy.' perfect:) |
Sakura123 chapter 1 . 3/16/2009 Finally! I've looking everywhere for a Fic on Jadis' POV on that sequence from Prince Caspian. Well Done. |
Elizabeth Culmer chapter 1 . 3/15/2009 This is brilliant! I love how you portray Jadis's disdain for everyone in that chamber, and the distinction she draws between killing and destroying - there are reasons people talk of fates worse than death, and I think Jadis is quite familiar with most of those ends. |
Yami no Kokoro chapter 1 . 2/2/2009 I adore this story. The writing is fantastic, and you manage to capture the essence of Peter, Edmund, and the Queen so well for such a short fic. This was possibly my favorite moment in the movie, and I'm really glad you made the effort to get inside the Queen's head and expand upon it for us. I would comment especially on the brilliance of the last line, but the entire story is written just as well, so it wouldn't really be fair. In any case, thanks very much for the story, and great job. ~YnK |
