(11/12:) I don't know if anyone is going to see this, but if you do: I posted Natalia yesterday, and have already gotten 67 views, as well as a couple reviews and even favorites. This response is miles above anything I've ever gotten, so if you've read Natalia and are looking at my other fics because of it, thank you so much. I'm amazed.

So, first off - hi. I'm not using my given name, so you can call me Caity, Caitlyn, Chia, or Melody. Take your pic. Throughout this profile I will speak in italics.

This profile is also currently being edited. Heavily. Because it filled up 26 pages when copied to a word document.

Secondly - and most importantly - I have just changed my penname from AlwaysABrandNewDay to lifechiaroscuro, because I have recently created a livejournal and an AO3 account under that name. Also, I created this account when I was thirteen - I haven't even listened to the song by that title in years.

Narnia:
A Fledgling's Growth (AFG) A random vignette series based in Narnia.
Ad esse franci (AEF) A bittersweet one-shot about Susan post-LB. Unlike most fics, this isn't a heartbroken, angsty story about her grief for the loss of her siblings and Narnia. There's a preview of/prologue to it in AFG called 'Crib'.

Avengers:
Natalia A history of Natalia Romanova, her beginnings, and her legacy. (Mostly focusing on the lovely depravity of 'The Red Room'.)

Captain America:
(Our spider is caught) in her own web Post-TWS, Natasha and Bucky get captured by their former masters. Needless to say, it doesn't end well. On hiatus.

The bed in AEF/Crib - it's around the size of the bed in the first pic, but obviously looks more like a bed from that time might. (The headboard is at the top instead of the side, of course.)

*On my 'Avengers' fics: I have read over the Wikipedia pages for the Black Widow and Hawkeye, since they're the two characters that don't (yet) have their own movie, and I plan on incorporating certain ideas, especially about Natasha, but other than that my fics are completely movieverse. Sorry to any especial fans of the comics.

A Special Note About Me And My Writing:
I fully admit to having issues that affect my writing and how much I can do of it. I also have a busy life. My writing often has to be put off because of this. Basically, I'm sorry, but I won't be updating even slightly regularly unless it's summer. To all of you that have stuck with me, thanks so much.
