When the sea took their parents, Anna knocked on Elsa's door one last time... and Elsa reached out without thinking. Now those few words might just build a fragile bridge between two sisters for the first time in forever. Because Anna isn't very good at giving up. A little over a year after the events of the movie, things in Arendelle have settled down and everyone is happy and at peace. But the arrival of two familiar strangers complicates everything and the tenuous peace that has been attained is at risk. Not everyone can forgive and forget so easily.

A few months after the thaw, Elsa and Anna are trying to reconnect and become close. Elsa begins to pull away again. Anna finds out why, but she is almost too late. One-shot, sisterly fluff.

It's been a year since her coronation and Elsa has always wondered what if she hadn't pushed Anna away that day. Would everything else have happened if she didn't? This thought is what leads her to The Valley of the Living Rock, to see if the trolls can help her answer this question. Non-modern AU, no pairings although you could call it Elselsa since there are two Elsas in this.

Modern AU: Elsa is left to take care of her 5 year old sister, Anna, after their absentee father and alcoholic mother abandon her. Elsa, who'd lead a life of solitude and anxiety up until this point, must set this aside to give her sister the childhood she never had, while keeping her sheltered from their parent's demons. On the way back from a secret past-midnight trip to the kitchens, Anna finds Elsa's door unlocked and open.

There was no sound except Elsa's laboured breathing until she suddenly let out a strangled cry, sinking to the floor and curling up into a ball. Anna gasped and ran to her, kneeling down beside her and taking one of her hands. "Ow!" she cried, pulling back immediately. The skin on her hand was peeling,smoking. "What are you doing?" she whispered, and the ground cracked beneath her.

Even after Elsa brings back summer, she still sometimes tries to hide her feelings behind a closed door. Can Anna get her to open up?

Post movie: Anna and Elsa have been reunited for two weeks. Yet it's Anna who becomes too scared to want more time with Elsa, fearing she'll go too far like always, get too greedy, drive Elsa crazy and get shut out for good. Yet Elsa finds the courage to make sure she knows that will never happen again. Kristanna, sisterly Elsanna bonding.

The fever keeps Anna in bed for days.
