The secret fantasies of a 35 year old otaku. I've had ideas floating around in my head since I became and anime lover in 2010 (Yes I'm a late bloomer). My journey into this wonderful world of manga and anime started with Netflix of all places.

As a child I watched Pokemon (yes way back in the days when Ash overslept and was forced to take the left over Pikachu. I remember when Episode 1 was new). I also watched the original Dragon Ball all the way through the "Z" Buu saga. But these I never considered as anime. They were cartoons for me. Being young and ignorant, I wasn't aware of the differences.

So fast forward to Netflix. I was puttering around trying to figure out what I wanted to watch, and clicked on the anime category.

I liked the look of "Kaze No Stigma", and I was hooked. (My heart broke a little when I discovered that the mangaka had died, so that series will always remain incomplete. I plan on eventually writing what I'd like to have see happen, but right now I'm completely addicted to Fairy Tail.) Like a heroine addict I quickly started to consume every English dubbed anime I could find. "Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood" and "FMA", "Full Metal Panic", The first 100 episodes of "Bleach" (currently stuck trying to force myself though the "Bounds" arc. I've been promised by many that it gets so much better.) But the English dubbed animes left me wanting. So I would continue the series with the subbed. But then I'd come across so many series with just 1 season, leaving me wanting for more.

Like "Special A", "Skip Beat", "Fruits Basket", "Kamisama Hajimemashita". Where was the rest of the story?! That is when I entered the even deeper world known as manga.

But then my next problem arose. Incomplete manga! Having to wait a month or more for each new chapter of Skip Beat. The week to week tidbits of Fairy Tail.

You'd think my patience level would be higher at 30. There was also another aspect of some of my favorite titles. It's target audience isn't meant for 30 year old moms. Yes I want Natsu and Lucy to do more than fan service with clothes ripping or being removed. And that's how I found myself here, in the fan fiction world. I like it here. So many talented authors giving me such well written views of situations I never would have considered. (Lucy and Laxus?! No way! Wait, ooo, yes drool Deathsembrace137 has got me convinced on that pairing) I read mainly the M rated stories here. And will write mainly M rated stories. Platonic I leave to the original managaka even if some of them like to tease us mercilessly (Hiro Mashima, I'm thinking of you)

I have officially joined this amazing group of authors who make this fanfiction so fabulous. I feel unworthy most of the time. once you start writing a story, 10 more pop into you're head. It's really cool actually. But I'm gonna try to finish each story before writing a new one. I do not have the skills nor time to write 10 at a time like some of the amazing authors I have come across. So I write down the idea and a short summary, so I don't forget about it. But I am plowing through my current story which will probably be very long.
