Wow, it's been forever since I updated this thing.

Very little of the below remains true, but looking back at it gives me a lovely sense of nostalgia, so I'm going to leave it :P (Also, I'm too lazy to fix it all.) So, have a look at the "me" of 2008:

I'm blue morning tide, a high school senior and aspiring writer, graphic designer, language expert, and... umm... whatever will make me the most money (heck, I'll be a doctor or lawyer if I have to to get money for manga!)

Favorite Manga (too many to count, but I'll try to limit myself): anything by Kaori Yuki, Vampire Knight, Fruits Basket, Death Note, Demon Diary

Favorite Books (again, too many to count, but here's a few): Twilight, New Moon, and (soon) Eclipse by Stephenie Meyer; The Sevenwaters Trilogy by Juliet Marillier; Harry Potter (of course)

Favorite Music (if you haven't heard of these people, check them out): a lot of anime music, mostly composed by Yoko Kanno and Yuki Kajiura; Katie Melua; Hayley Westenra; My Chemical Romance; Paramore; A Fine Frenzy; Evanescence; Flyleaf; Nightwish; the music from The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked.

Favorite Movies: The Prestige, The Sting, Pride and Prejudice (every version out there - I love them all), Princess Mononoke, Pan's Labyrinth, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Pet Peeves: poor grammar and punctuation; movies in which people make fools of themselves (I'm lookin' at you, Will Ferrel!); people bending the covers of the manga I lend them; dog-eared pages (get a bookmark, people!); random Japanese words spattered through fanfics;

My List of Languages to Learn: Japanese (for obvious, fangirl-related reasons), Portuguese (to communicate better with my dad's side of the family), Spanish (the only one I am currently learning), Italian (beautiful!), French (almost as beautiful as Italian!), Russian (because it's just cool), Korean (because it's cool, too!)

I also hope to master the many English accents of the world: British, Australian, Southern, Canadian, etc. _

It is very possible that I may be posting some one-shots in the future, though. (The plot bunny only needs to bite once, and they don't require a whole lot of commitment. Yes, I'm lazy.)
