![]() Author has written 5 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians. YOLO. But if you do it right, once is enough :) Hi, I'm Princess, 18; Manhattan, New York and I believe that sometimes, the best revenge is to smile, be more beautiful, move on and do nothing. Being a bitch is also an option. Just saying. I created this account because, true, I can't deny that I have an ounce of being a writer in my blood. Runs in the family? IDK. And I need some outlet. So, as I understand this profile is all about myself right? So what can I say? I think I might just say see for yourself but seeing as you can't actually see me . . . okay here goes. First and foremost, I am a college student. Anyway, I'm taking up International Hospitality Management and I want to be an event designer :) But I'm also planning to take up film studies at Columbia University coz being in press junkets intrigues me. Okay, this is a little bit . . . i dunno, common introduction? But hey, I have to start somewhere! Okay, here's a little bit . . . deeper? I love design and maybe a little . . . glam in life. But behind the glam, I would want some peace. Get it? Sometimes I don't either. But that's the best part about being a teenager right? Not knowing, making mistakes and just going with the flow. It'll make us wiser as we grow. At least that's what I believe in. Okay, I think this is the part where I tell something related to literature or something? I love reading chick lit. But next to that I love reading non fiction books. Makes me know a hell of a lot more. As for movies, I love everything Audrey Hepburn and Johnny Depp. I'm not actually a fangirl material. Because for me all of the actresses and actors out there, underneath their persona, is still human, just like us. They're just a little more popular than us. I'm aware of the things I can, the things I can't and the things I take for granted. Finally, I'm a self confessed bummer! I love shoes, books, kisses and chocolates. Who doesn't?! I hate skittles. I'm allergic to alcohol. I love Chuck Bass. And most of all . . . I'm proud of myself! I'm true to who I am and I won't change anything. TRUE STORY A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won't repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. PS: God is always there in your heart and loves you no matter what, and if you stand up for him he will stand up for you. This story is amazing to me because God is always by your side waiting patiently for you. That's why he is my one and only God. He never gave up on me even when I didn't deserve him. Tumblr - |
