Well hello there, let me tell you a little about myself.

I'm a married, no kids yet, but that doesn't stop me from loving the Final Fantasy games. In fact it was Final Fantasy VII that made me buy the original playstation console as opposed to the Nintendo at the time. I'm also into Grand Turismo driving games and Grand Theft Auto. Strange for a woman I know, but I like them.

I have never attempted to write a full length story, let alone two before. Not unless you count a childrens story I had to write and illustrate back in school. But having read stories on here and thinking these people are great. You can always tell a good one if you are waiting for the next chapter to appear. So I thought I have an idea for a story why dont I have a go at writing.

Hey has anyone actually looked at the country graphs which display where people are from that are looking at your stories??

I'm amazed people are looking from the USA through to Russia!!

I actually had a review from Australia the other day ...that's just great.

But of course trying to get reviews seems to be the issue here.. they must be like gold dust! Sometimes your writing your story just for you and then when you see the reviews coming in. You start to write the story for the people following your story. Well if your not a member of Fanfiction it doesn't matter as you can still leave a review even if its only a can't wait for the next chapter,keep it up etc. Well we shall see what happens...

I must be either sad or mad because I have already thought of two more stories I can write for this fanfiction. I might start them soon as the idea is burning away at me and I feel the need to write it down. At least if I hit a mental block on one story I can always turn to the other. I wonder if other authors out there are having the same trouble and I would be interested to Know, so please drop me an email.

Now three stories are currently on offer:-

Love Forever- It's book one of a trilogy. Starting from the final fight with Ultimecia and then the relationship between Squall and Rinoa, especially after he has to take a well deserved holiday. Of course it's not as simple as that. Something will happen that only one man can prevent, but the question is will his friends and collegues be able to assist.

The Hood- I wanted to write an old adventure and what could be better than a Robin Hood style story set in the world of Final Fantasy VIII. The hero will still be our Squall and the heroine will still be Rinoa. But of course you will see all the old favourite characters appear. I have my ideas on how this story will go, so watch this space if your interested.

The Pride and The Prejudice -Being a great Jane Austen fan. I thought that this story could work well into the world of Final Fantasy, although there will be changes slightly to make the story my own. Hopefully people will like this. Yes I must be mad trying to now write three stories at the same time. Hey nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Well that's all I am going to divulge at the moment. Thanks to everyone that has reviewed so far it's very much appreciated.

Apologies for anyone reading my stories out there and who wondered what on earth happend to the next chapter. This is just to update you to say that due to my last computer finding it's way to my local tidy tip and me having to purchase a brand new one...(Ouch! That was pricey!) Anyway. chapter eight of 'The Hood' is now loaded and I am rapidly working on my other two stories...so watch this space!

Well it seems like forever since I last updated my stories or even my profile! As you can see I am back on track and hopefully giving you a good read?

Now to the nitty gritty...I'm looking for a beta reader or two to review my chapters before they are published. So if anyone is interested in the job, please drop me a line.

Oh my goodness! i cannot believe it has been ten years since i started writing on here. But after a bad marriage and a heartbreaking divorce i found myself re-reading one of ‘Ashbear,s’ stories and thought to myself i must find my login and continue writing the stories i had started. After much cursing the login email and password screen i managed to log back into fanfiction. :) Oh happy days!!! So i plan to continue ’The Hood’ story first. Hopefully my writing will have improved with age!!!

I can only dream to be as good as ‘Ashbear’ who in my opinion is the best story teller on here!
