![]() Author has written 6 stories for Twilight. 'Knowledge is limited, but imagination encircles the world.' - Einstein Avatar: Imogen Heap, Speak For Yourself Penname: Favourite Colour & Author; one of many. Elle's the name. I'm sixteen years old and studying at highschool, which, at first, was a major dissapointment for me. Apparently, breaking out into song in the middle of the cafeteria isn't socially acceptable. Highschool Musical can be misleading that way. I'm a fictional junkie, which is the best kind of junkie to be, if you ask me. Literature, the Smarty-Pants name for books, is my escape from reality. Not saying that reality's that bad; it's just no where near as exciting as make-believe (geez, Peter Pan, much?). Apart from reading, I spend most of my time staring out my window when it's raining with a poetic look on my face, being musical and publicly humilating my best friends; the real kind, not the fake 'Biffles!!' kind that delete you from their Myspace Top Friends after a week. I'm obsessed with Britain, even though I don't live there. In five years time, London here I come! I've already planned my accomodation, picked out my travel buddy and worked out my means of travel; the Tardis and the Doctor. Haha. Just pulling your leg! My Mom's from Merry-Old-England, though, and that fact is definitely reflected in me. English music, movies, books, television; you name it and I've heard of it. Except the Mighty Boosh. I haven't managed to quite grasp a hold of that one yet. I fear that it will scar me for life. 'What are my aspirations?' you might ask. Golly! Where to start? Well, my life-long dream is to marry Seth Cohen's long-lost-twin, then grow and flourish into a Volvo-driving Soccer Mom; take that, Edward Cullen! By the way, I like to use semi-colons; a lot. Even when Word Grammar Check tells me "Semi-Colon use (consider revising)". Yeah? Well, guess what Microsoft; I; don't; care;;;;;;; Story-wise, I have only ever written for Twilight, but I'm planning to branch out my literary (see how smart I sound!) repotoire, eventually. You could label me as a Twi-hard/Wolf-Girl. I'm all for Team Jacob -Edward is the biggest Marty-Stu- and the La Push characters fascinate me endlessly. Dissimilarly, Bella Swan or Cullen or whatever the hell she's called now, frustrates me to Timbuktu and back. Compared to the inspiring, intelligent, intriguing Leah Clearwater, Bella, the so-called 'feminist', is dull, boring and superficial. I mean, how else can you describe someone who's entertained by sparkly things? No, Leah Clearwater is far deeper than Cinderbella. The reason why I write about her and not about the supposed 'heroine' of the story. There was so much left hanging in the air about Leah in the Twilight series, so I decided to fill in the blanks for myself. You follow me so far? Brilliant. If you've gotten this far through my pointless ramblings, then congratulations! You deserve a honey-comb flavoured ice-cream; that's my favourite kind. -Grins widely- Anything you want to ask me, profile or story related? Don't be afraid to PM me. I don't bite...I bet you thought I was going to say much. Haha. See how unpredictable I am? To quote my chav cousin, Jackie, "La'ers!" - Elle. |
