I live in the middle of a desert. Well, more like ex desert. It is either really hot, or really cold here depending on the time of year, which can be very annoying.

When I came to this site, I was originally just looking for a place to read good fan fiction. But when I saw how easy it was to post your own, I decided to take some of my story ideas and actually write them down. Unfortunately, I didn't like the pressure that observers create, so I wanted to finish stories before publishing them. And the truth is I ran out of steam on most of my full length fan fictions. However, recently I rediscovered my passion for writing stories, and have decided to write one-shots to build up stamina for (potentially) a full length story. Most of these one-shots will be for my true fandom, Harry Potter, and will be Marauder era fics that tie together (though it won't be necessary to read one to enjoy the others). While that is the plan I have and will stray into other fandoms at times.

Crush (Harry Potter): 1st year. Lily Evans has a secret; a brown-haired, hazel eyed secret. Unfortunately, that is about to change... Two-shot

NEW (Post 2010 Stories)

Furry Little Problem (Harry Potter): Second Year. Remus' friends confront him with a truth he wishes would stay hidden. But their reactions are beyond anything he ever expected. One-shot, MWPP era, Not romance.

Fiotestudo (Harry Potter): 3rd Year. "Yes Lily was smart, but she had never felt the need to “beat” another student at anything. Well, with one notable exception." Lily/James. One-shot.

By the Bard (Harry Potter) - 4th year. 4th year. James corners Lily in the common room, leading to a discussion about Shakespeare.

Reflections (Brave): Drabble. Pre-movie. Merida understood her mother far more than she ever let on

Crash (Harry Potter): "To an outside observer, Lily Evans didn't look particularly distressed." One-shot. Lily/James, but romance isn't the focus. Canon compliant, as far as I am aware.

OLD (Pre 2010 Stories)

The Agent (Alex Rider): Alex isn't shocked to learn that he isn't the first teenager to be used by MI6. But he is shocked by what he is asked to do next, and the lesson he will learn in the process. Set somewhere between books 3 and 4 in what is now an AU. One Shot

The Hat (Indiana Jones): A funny little thing I did for a drama assignment. I couldn't resist posting it on the site. Probably qualifies as a crack drabble.

Planned (In no particular order)

The Light Before We Land - 7th year. In which Lily is told, in no uncertain terms, that she owes someone a huge apology. And then she gives it.

Siblings - Summer after 3rd Year. Sirius and Lily deal with their respective siblings. Or at least they try to.

Frank Conversations - In which Sirius tries to get Lily to forgive James for what happened at the lake, and Lily explains why she can't.

One last note: If anyone happens to be inspired enough by one of my stories that they would like to or be willing to make a cover for said story, I'd appreciate it. I would add a thank you to the story. I'm trying to use paint to make some covers, but I'm not much of an artist so they are so-so at best.
