I've talked about the drivers of the engines of the Steam Team ( the original) and them being in a band together. So I think now I should show how the band got together. This story takes place in 2014, and Season 17. Some mild language.

With Ashima back in India, Thomas had no one special to spend the holiday with. Ashima weights heavily on his mind all hours of the day, and it begins to take a toll on his work. Sir Topham Hatt asks all his engines one day what they would like for Christmas. There's only one thing Thomas wants for Christmas, but it would never happen... would it?

Christmas Day is just around the corner, and the villagers on Thomas' Branch Line are looking forward to the big Christmas party. But on Christmas Eve, a power cut leaves Thomas' Branch Line without power, meaning the villagers can't celebrate Christmas. But Thomas is determined to make sure the villagers get the Happy Christmas they desire.

Sailor John's reign of terror has finally ended, and peace has returned to the Island of Sodor. Despite this, the many near death experiences that they faced during the battle against his old enemy have left Thomas shaken and worried about a certain question he'd like to ask Emily about their relationship, should anything else happen to endanger it. But how will Emily respond?

While Thomas is stuck in Crosby for the night due to jammed points, he receives an unnerving premonition from his dearly departed sister, warning him of the great calamity approaching Sodor. Meanwhile, Sailor John decides to recruit a new formidable ally for his plan. As the old saying goes; the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

After Thomas got lost on the Mainland, Emily decides it's finally time to put her wheel firmly down and punish Thomas for venturing off the Mainland without so much as even warning her or having any consideration for her feelings. Thomas is convinced that Emily won't be able to go through with her punishment as usual, but he never could have predicted how far she was willing to go.

After Gordon has a crash, he suffers amnesia. The others try to remind him of who he is, but without reckoning on how much confusion and delay this may cause!

Two trigger happy hunters named Byrne and McIntyre, under the order of Sailor John and Seymour Murphy, hunt down and attack the engines of the Small and North Western Railways. The Fat Controller and Small Controller issue "No Hunting" signs to be placed along their railways, but these signs prove to be of no concern to these hunters.

One night, James catches a glimpse of Thomas and Emily being heavily passionate in the night and begins to wonder if Molly would ever be as bold as Emily when it comes to passion. He later decides to ask Thomas and Emily in private about what they do in their most passionate nature. James is sure that Molly would never be confident enough to go that far with him. Emily is given a special task by the Earl, she is too collect and bring guests to the Earl's Halloween party, so she needs to be spotless. But on the day, a lot of engines are out of work, so Emily has to cover for them. Unfortunately for her, all of the jobs are the filthiest jobs on the island and by the end, Emily is anything but spotless.

After a brutal accident with trucks from the Mainland, Emily is left in a crucial state after receiving so much heavy damage. Thomas, desperate for justice to be served after Emily's accident, struggles desperately to fight his inner demons and withhold his promise to his angel. But without her, Thomas finds it to hard to resist and eventually gives in, leading to great tragedy...

Even the strongest and closest couples have their arguments, as Thomas and Emily learn after having their first big argument, which causes them to drift apart. However, with the support of their friends, the angel and the demon work to repair the cracks in their relationship and rekindle the powerful bond of love between them.

Thomas always struggles to control his emotions, without the comfort of his angel he can't keep his feelings in line. After losing control of his emotions once again, it's up to his emerald angel to calm her love's inner demon and return it to it's slumber once again.

Diesel struggles to maintain his rough demeanor after he finds some ducklings. Essentially an extended version of "Diesel and the Ducklings" from Season 20, with some ThomasXEmily moments cause why not?

Emily's nickname for Thomas, "Tommy" has always been private due to Thomas' concerns about being teased about it, but when Emily accidentally lets this secret slip, James overhears and proceeds to tell everyone about Thomas' nickname, much to Thomas and Emily's displeasure. Worried that everyone will tease Thomas and that he will be cross with her, Emily asks Edward for his help.

Sodor is thrown into a panic when international criminals known as "The Rail Bandits" escape to the island, and the Fat Controller is framed for their crimes!
