My name is Amanda, I'm 18. I primarily write Arthur and Molly fics. They're such a great couple and its fun to take a look at their earlier life before they had children, and when the children were little. My first three fanfics, (Before they were Parents, Weasley Newlyweds, and Life as a Weasley), span across Molly and Arthur's time at school through the books. If you like the portrayal of the young Weasleys, Weasley Newlyweds is the way to go. Life as a Weasley basically covers the birth of Ginny, and Molly and Arthur's point of view to events that are mentioned in the books (Ron's memories and so forth) as well as their relationship as a married couple. I try to update as frequently as possible, but like everyone else, I go through writing slumps so forgive me if it takes a while. However, I will promise one thing: I will try to keep the time between updates to less than three months, but I've found that writing English papers about once every three weeks is burning me out in the creative department. I also keep everything canon, though ultimately, Life as a Weasley will only be canon through HBP. I've calculated that Molly and Arthur are about 45/46 in book six, so events are planned accordingly in the earlier fics. Since HBP has come out, I've gotten many more ideas, and I hope to be adding a couple of side fics to Life as a Weasley. My latest fic, New Year's Kiss, takes place when Arthur and Molly are still newlyweds, so you could say it's an alternate first chapter to Weasley Newlyweds, coming before An April Fool's Day Prank to Remember.

I have recently started another fanfic (The Early Years)with one of my friends from Livejournal, Cindy...known around these parts as mollysarthur. That fanfic is also Molly/Arthur, which in some way will parallel my fic, Before They Were Parents, but it starts in their first year, and will be written RPG format.

I also cowrote with Lamenting Quill under the joint penname Hooked On Weasleys, and our two fics were written in RPG format, as we commonly started fics over instant messages. Our first fic is titled: Warming Mrs. Weasley.
