I am Altra Palantir. I have been for long enough that the name has become part of my identity. I recently realized that it had literally been years since I have updated this bio. It was horridly out of date, and I started to feel a bit bad about it. (I also saved myself a copy, for posterity, because I am a bit of a dork like that.)

I have been writing; originals, fanfics, poetry, musical compositions, and scripts, since I was about seven. Sometimes I post my fics, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I don't even write them down. Sometimes I don't finish them. If I lose the mood, it is very hard to find again. I'm sorry. I know how incredibly frustrating it can be.

Fortunately, I have managed to make peace with myself, and therefore won't be terribly disappointed if anyone decides to roast me. Flames are perfectly welcome. I like fire. It's the element I get on all of those spiffy little quizzes floating around the internet.

Anyway, before I actually put all my weight on the soap box, I'll contain myself (and tonight's reflective mood) and leave you with a quote.

Another note: Some of the fics on this site were written a very long time ago, when I was far younger and really not very good. I keep them around to keep myself humble. Please keep this in mind and don't judge me on their quality. Please remember to look at the date on a story before reading, and remember what you were like that long ago.
