Nevermind. I realise you're just checking on info on the fanfic... Or perhaps you're very curious about what sort of person followed/reviewed/favourited your story this time.

I started a Supernatural and Harry Potter crossover by the title A School to Stay At, or ASSA for short. It is a fanfic where the Winchesters happened to be in London when Dean was 11 and it got him an invitation to Hogwarts. I have some wild plans for it, but it's going really slow (extremely so). As you may have noticed, it is currently under hiatus. I truly want to finish it, but to be excruciatingly honest with you, it doesn't have that high a priority for me at the moment. I know that you as the reader don't really benefit with vague answers on when it might be picked up and updated again, but since I can't give you that, I want to at least tell you what you can expect.

I don't want to abandon it. There. I think that is the most important one. It was very easy to write the story up to this point. It just rolled out effortlessly and that was a great time. However, with the next chapter I ran into a lot of loopholes. As you may have realized when reading the story, I try to stay true to both the Harry Potter and Supernatural universes up to where I know it. For Supernatural, I have watched seasons 1 to 12 and then gave up on the show (which kinda diminished my drive for the story as well, though I still want to work on it). No, what truly got me hung up about it was when I was almost finished writing the following chapter and it escalated into the hunter's... unease and hatred towards Poltergeists. I could not, for the life of me, introduce Peeves in such a way that Dean and Bobby wouldn't freak out and skip town. You see, the first time (in season 1 even) that a Poltergeist was featured in the show, it wasn't older than a decade or two at the most and it was already too powerful for them to deal with it the "normal" way. Peeves is almost a millennium old. I managed to write myself out of that one by introducing Peeves as a force of nature that hit like a karma ball. But I'm still not sold on the idea and that hiccup has been a pain to overcome and get my inspiration back from. It doesn't help that I have another fanfic project with my best friend, either. I try to plan for both, but between those two, my own fanfic just has a lower priority and sadly I don't have any friends that are in the Supernatural fandom to bounce ideas off. I try my best, but it's just going at a slug pace.

Update February 12, 2019. Yes, I am alive and yes, I am still writing whenever I have the opportunity to.
