Last year my 25-year old son convinced me, his 57-year old mother, to allow him to introduce me to the anime "Avatar: The Last Airbender". I was hooked on this very original mythology and world-building; I was very disappointed when the series ended when it did (though I have heard that they're talking about possibly taking up the story again. ;D) and could have watched several more seasons!
