I am a dreamer, a writer, an imaginative person. I have been writing for years, and I love it. I am saddened that I am unable to write as much as I once could, as life has dealt me a rather full hand. First and foremost, I am mother to three children, and a single mother at that. My oldest has some health problems, and I must say, though I may not write as much as I once did, the stories I read when I can't sleep at night or when I'm in the hospital with him have helped keep me sane through several major medical crises with him, so thank you all. Secondly, I am a journalist by profession, and thus...most of what I write now a days is what I am paid to, and I often lack inspiration and energy to write outside of that. Rest assured, though, when inspiration strikes - you'll see a new story from me. Many are inspired by the goofy things my boys say and do, so many stories post-becoming a mother focus on little Harry and his relationship with my two favorite characters, James and Lily Potter, before their death. In fact, most of my stories here have basis or inspiration coming straight from my own life.

That said, I hope to one day have the time and inspiration to bring back my old multi-chap fic (which I long ago deleted from here but kept the original files on a flash drive) Rebirth. So, watch for that. It may end up happening. For those who have mentioned this "lost" fic in reviews to others who have written similar fics, yes, mine was the original. It was unfinished and a mess - I'd begun when I was 15 and finally deleted it when I was 23. This should tell you how long I've been part of this community haha
