Set during 3x11 (based on the promo). When Fitz and Jemma are locked in the isolation room, feelings erupt and they discover just how far they are from actually being able to read each other's minds.

Lincoln doesn't really know Fitz, nor Simmons. But what he does know, however, is that Simmons has been limping and clutching her stomach when she thinks no one's looking. Fitz wants to help Simmons take her mind off of everything they've been through lately so he suggests that they take some time off base & get something to eat. After they make plans, they both realize that this could be looked at as their first date since the kiss, since... They both get nervous and turn to their friends. Daisy decides drastic measures will be needed.

At the base, shortly before Christmas, Fitzsimmons decorate for the holidays and Jemma channels her inner Christmas elf to put to together a special surprise.
