After only one semester at college, Pony's daughter has a change of plans. The scariest part is telling her Dad.

A lot of people think that I'm just a shallow girl, but there's a lot more that I think about that I'm not willing to say.

Cassie Curtis is still dealing with the aftermath of her parents death. Curly Shepard is wrestling with demons from his past. When these two collide will they be able to help each other or will it just cause more heartache?

Soda was a good soldier.

[STORY ON HIATUS] On December 1st, 1969, all the Greasers gathered around the Curtis' little black and white television in order to witness a historic event. The assigning of numbers for the draft in order to aid the war in Vietnam. Little did they know just how much this would change the course of all their lives and how these simple numbers would define so much of their lives.

Ponyboy Curtis discovers an unbreakable bond with a little auburn-haired girl while mourning the loss of another loved one.

That's the thing about this world we live in: it's full of shitty people, shitty towns, and very shitty circumstances.

The society pages the next day spoke almost exclusively of how Two-Bit Mathews had been seen gallivanting around town with the newly crowned prom queen. Everyone agreed that Miss Stevens looked dazzling in her pink formal, and could pull off a tiara. And no, we still don't know who slashed Steve Randle's tires. {It's prom night, 1968. One-Shot.}

When one of the Curtis brothers is hurt by a drunk motorcycle driver, Ponyboy and Sodapop must rise to the challenges life shoves at them.

Roles in the family are unclear and it's causing tension between Darry and Soda.

Or, how Two-Bit Mathews got it in his head that seeing his daughter kissing his buddy's son in the Sunday school classroom on Easter was the worst possible thing that could happen. Also, said daughter may or may not have an obsession with whether or not she's named after the Virgin Mary. In short, the Easter of 1989 was one of the family's weirder ones. {One-shot}

Thirteen-year-old Tim Shepard wants to earn his uncles' respect, even if it kills him— and it just might. On hiatus.

Tulsa doesn't seem to have gotten the memo that it's the Summer of Love. And Ponyboy Curtis is restless. San Francisco is calling. But he also can't seem to make himself take the risk and just...go. {One-shot. Maybe.}

Her name is Peach, or so she says. Her face is young, and it bothers him, how little he cares about that. If anything, he's partial to it, and that's worrisome when he thinks about it, so he doesn't.

Soda lands in the ER tonight, but he doesn't really mind.

A hard year after so much loss, Pony works to regain his fighting spirit, and Darry works at being the parent that Pony needs.

"Just 'cuz someone smiles real easy and knows how to have a good time don't mean that they don't got a little bit of the Devil in 'em." Just because it isn't right doesn't mean he won't do it. Just because he knows she'll hate him if she finds out doesn't mean he won't take the risk. We all gotta do a little bad to get a lot good done. At least, that's how he justifies it.

It's twisted beyond fixing. All they can do is live with it.

Ponyboy holds tight to every memory he has of his father

You think you'd cry, if there was anything inside of you that could still cry.

I realized that the man I'd seen in that funeral home – the man making arrangements for his dead parents – was just a façade crumbling into the young boy in front of me now.

Pony struggles in a world without parents, and can't help feeling forgotten.

{"Comics is the only part of the paper worth a damn," Darrel Senior once said to his wife. "That, and the help wanted ads."} At the end of the day, he was the only father the seven of them had really ever had. But now he was gone, and all that was left to do was sit around eating funeral food and talk about him. {One-shot.}

Sometimes, I think he still sees himself there; still in that shitty camp, still under the cold and wet amongst warm bodies, still amongst the dead and the living and unable to tell who was which.

After Pony passes out in the streets, it's up to Darry and Soda to nurse him back to health. The road back to consciousness isn't an easy one, but Darry and Soda won't let their little brother slip through their fingertips. Ponyboy and Darry try and remember the two nights that bring them closer to understanding each other.

Now that Sodapop's reached high school, he's suddenly aware of Darry's godlike status and isn't quite sure of where he stands.

The Curtis brothers are up against a nasty and powerful storm.

"The two boys walked back to their work. My eyes lingered on the blonde one's back, I couldn't quite remember his name at the time." A girl from the North Side gets the counter job at the DX.

While Darry deals with a long night of sleeplessness, he misses his father and the connection they shared.

Brothers fight, but when Sodapop and Darry go at it, Ponyboy is feeling uneasy

Sodapop has returned from the war, and Darry and Ponyboy are counting their blessings.

With Darry away and Sodapop not enforcing rules, Ponyboy sees how it really feels to be free from parental control.

Darry is working hard to keep it together the day after his parents' accident. Sodapop has a different way of coping, and it just might end up saving his brother.

Some may see him differently, but Darry Curtis knows exactly who is.

Ponyboy is wondering why he seems so stuck as Sodapop heads out on the town.

Randy Adderson knows that he's changing, but all his friends are staying the same. Now that Bob is gone and his life has been turned upside-down, he has to figure out what to do next. It's not as easy as he thought it would be.

"The cops kinda beat it outta me that you guys were in Texas..." And that was just the beginning of his troubles. When Johnny and Pony leave town, the only person with the answers is Dallas Winston. NOW COMPLETE!

Borrowing Darry's truck turned out to be a bad decision. Over the course of a night, chaos reigns and does what it does best. Cause trouble.
