I first read it about two? years ago, and I reread it this past week, and everything was as perfect and heartwarming as I remember. Although the trope of a love triangle/teenage romance has been overused too much, your story is absolutely unique because you really show the feelings going on, and you make it even better by showing the kind of class/family struggle - especially by showing how Two-bit and some of the others are afraid that they'd grow up to be like their parents, you bring it home to make the story more serious and realistic. and ugh you really make two-bit and dally into real people oh jeez cause it's not like two-bit's only a jokester and dally's the kind of mess-around heartbreaker you REALLY add all these multifaceted depths into their persona that make it possible to justify the back and forth romance. its beautiful i cant even describe how good it is I absolutely love the dialogue going on; it's the perfect amount of mischievousness and friendly banter to show the relationship between characters, and (this is just a small detail) I think you really incorporate the general 1950s slang into the story? its beautiful my dude. Please don't stop writing whatever it is you want to write, and I hope that you have the time to update soon. :)) |
