Unusually hot in Los Angeles for this time of year, Lucifer stands on his balcony and inspects his injured wings. He hasn't seen Chloe in 2 days and he recounts the events that led him here, missing her and cursing himself for how his true form had been revealed to the detective. "Blimey, you know it's bloody hot when even the devil sweats" he thought to himself.

On separate occasions, Lucifer and Chloe walk into the other's place to find them sleeping. Two short, related one-shots.

Lucifer is hurting and Chloe knows she needs to leave in order for him to heal. Oneshot. Deckerstar.

"Tell me something, why do you think you don't deserve me?" she asked him. Maybe if he didn't want to say it on his own, she could get it out of him. Her question seemed to shock him. Just a short fic based off of the ending of 3x11 when Maze cuts off Lucifer's wings. I thought that scene was so powerful, I just had to put my take on it. I wanted it to be dark, didn't come close to how it felt, but I feel like it's okay. Let me know what you think. Rated M for language.

Lucifer can't stand his wings. He cuts them off again and again, but what are the consequences? When Chloe needs him on a case and he's vulnerable, he might try and act himself, but one thing leads to another and his secret is discovered. AKA some really shameless self-indulgent fanfiction because I wish they delved into it more! But of course, a happier deckerstar ending.

Maze thinks the solution is Lucifer making Chloe jealous. Linda thinks that's a terrible idea. But they can both agree that it doesn't matter what ends up happening, so long as it finally gets those two to take the next step.
