Does it matter who I am? I was formerly aLoudInspiration by what should really matter is what I'm dedicated to.

I've been a fan of InuYasha since I was younger, but when I watched the final act, I remembered just how much I loved it. I went online to look at fanart and anything related the show. I stumbled across a fanfiction that featured a romantic Sesshomaru/Rin ship as a minor ship and I was absolutely disgusted. I thought though hey, this is probably just a minority. One day, I went looking for some fluff between them and I realized how much of a majority it actually was.

I am disgusted. People, do you not understand how wrong Sesshomaru/Rin are? Not only is it pseudo-incestuous, it's child grooming! Come on! Why is it so popular? Why does everyone think it's so cute and such a good idea? Honestly, it made me throw up a little in my mouth. I honestly thought for a little bit that there was no such thing as father-daughter stories. Finally I found Silent Scribe and it was a miracle. I was reading through Silent Scribe's stories and I realized that hey, I could write those stories I find such a lack of. That is my goal here. I will write father-daughter, and father-daughter only. Do not ask me to write romance because it makes me sick.

She has another essay about how Sesshomaru/Kagura is canon. Personally, I believe Sesshomaru is asexual but if you believe in Sesshomaru/Kagura, I give it a recommend since she writes great essays. I also do not pair Kohaku with Rin. I see their relationship as that of brother and sister, though I can stand romances between them unlike Sesshōmaru and Rin because there relationship is not quite as clear cut. Still, I enjoy familial pieces so that is usually my relationship of choice for them.

I choose to pair Rin with Shippo instead, as I really don't see her having romantic relationships with a human. Kohaku, well, I will admit I don't care much about him either way, but most likely an original character if I ever wrote a post-canon romance for him.

I'm pretty consistent with how I name characters within canon or semi-canon material that don't have names. Sesshomaru's mother is Kinumi and Sesshomaru's father is Ishin. Rin's mother is Namiko and Rin's father is Jungo. Inuyasha's mother is, as many other's call her, Izayoi.
