 Author has written 9 stories for Wings of Fire, Tui T. Sutherland, and Kung Fu Panda. Hi and welcome! My name is Sand (she/her), and I enjoy writing and reading! I am currently just writing Wings Of Fire stories but I am a big fan of the Warriors series (its been a while since I've read the books though), the movie 9 and the Age of Fire series (by E.E Knight)! Don't be afraid to message me if you want to chat about these things! UPDATE (06-17-2020) Hey its me! Am I back? Sort of. Am I still writing WOF? Unfortunarely not. At least for the foreseeable future. I still love the books but my enthusiasm for writing fanfics lost it's momentum a while back and I've moved on to other things. I will be posting stories for my new interest. I was hesitant to post them here since everyone who follows me is looking for WOF content, but a few people mentioned wanting to see more of my writing regardless of what I write so I figure it won't hurt. UPDATE (07-27-2019) Hey so I have been gone for a while as some of you might have noticed. Truth is I got burned out. School disabilities a waning interest in WOF, and trying to maintain a strict uploading schedule knocked the juice out of me. I needed a break. I am tentatively getting back in the saddle and I appreciate your patience! I've been working on a little fun flumber story to get the creative stream running and have been reworking HBG (again hahahahahhahaha SOS) to make it less of a beast. I'll keep you posted and thanks for your time! ~ Sand UPDATE (12-26-2019) Hey my fellas, I am going to be taking things a lot more slow with WOF now. I am looking forward to creating original content now, but once every blue moon I'll probably drop in with a new one shot! I'm still checking reviews and responding to messages if you want to chat! About my published works: Healed (WOF): Status: Complete This story stars Flame, Sora and Umber and was inspired by the fact that, in Darkness of Dragons, we learn that Flame goes back to the Sky Kingdom to work with healers. It's something of a redemption arc/romcom and is just me fleshing out these characters in a touching and fun way. Also spoilers for book 10. Hearts of Black and Gold (WOF): Status: DISCONTINUED This is a passion project of mine. It features all OC characters and is an adventure story. I have taken some creative liberties with this story as well but mostly for topics not explored in depth in the books, such as what life was like before the Scorching as well as the life of an IceWing in the 7th circle. It also has some minor head canons in there as well, Rebirth (WOF): Status: DISCONTINUED Stonemover has spent the past seven years under the mountain in order to protect Pyrrhia, but something is calling him out. This is a mini-series involving Stonemover from someone who felt he needed a better ending. It is remaining 'in-progress' for now but updates will be dependent on time and inspiration. A Romantic Night at the Catacombs (WOF/Healed AU): Status: Complete/short story one-shot A fluffy story with Jet (my Healed OC) and Sora. It features romance, spooks, my head-canon that SkyWings have a very Celtic inspired culture, and, of course, a little bit of a backstory about everyone's favorite amateur ghost hunter. Winter: A character study/Faded portraits Status: Complete/short story one-shot The Game (WOF/Healed AU) Status: Complete Started off as a fluffy one shot now its a dramatic mini series. Where did I go wrong in my life? Future works and potential projects: Winter and the Scavenger (WOF): Winter has finally got his Scavenger sanctuary up and running, but has made very little progress in his research. This all changes when Turtle gives him something to help with his project: an amulet that lets him communicate with Scavengers. Title to be announced (WOF): Hailstorm is finally back in the Ice Kingdom where he belongs, but if he thought everything would go back to normal he was horribly wrong. The low-ranking circles are becoming unhappy with the hierarchy and revolution is in the air. Meanwhile Pyrite is still in his head, reminding him of the treasonous things he accomplished in the name of Queen Scarlet. Can he keep his time as Pyrite a secret from the rest of the tribe, all while trying to keep peace among the circles that grow increasingly revolutionary everyday? |
