Don't really have that much to say about the chapter, cuz it was great- nice and suspenseful, great characters, imminent sense of danger and a ticking time bomb still looming on the horizon- I love it. Except I can't tell if Lotus is bluffing to get them out of this situation, or if she really is Priestess' wife. If she is... that is the holy mother of all coincidences. Unless this was all orchestrated by the two of them working in tandem. Who knows? You, probably.

Hi SandShadow9, your story has caught my eyes for a while, but it took a while for me to go through the chapters and catch up to the newest one. And I must say that I have enjoyed the story very much so far! It is not an everyday thing to come across such a high-quality story. In term of settings, characters, and writing, everything have been excellent. Let's start with the characters, you have done a wonderful job of giving a unique personalities to all the characters in the story, and getting me to relate with their motivations, feelings and cheering for their success, all the adorably awkward interactions between Canyon and Storm have been my favorite so far. Talking about the awkwardness, I also enjoy the humor in the story through the characters reactions and antics. They all feel so natural and in-characters, but most of all, they do not interfere with all the emotional and serious moments. Finally, you have done an amazing job with world-building! All the myths, the backstory really set everything up to be an fascinating adventure that I am eager to learn more about. Overall, I cannot give you enough compliments for your work, and I just want to let you know that you have definitely earn a follower for your work.

This chapter was pretty exciting. And I like how you find a way to include the Queen mind control from the main series right now- because I've wanted to include that for such a long time but I've never been able to figure out how. Though to be honest the statues seem WAY creepier than regular old Hivewings. Although that might be because I've been terrified of statues ever since I found out about weeping angels from doctor who. I liked this a lot.

Anyways, the chapter was pretty awesome. I like the sudden rise in stakes, and that makes me wonder-are we coming close to an ending? I hope not- there seems to be a lot of subplots still around. But hey, what do I know.
I also liked how the interaction between the priestess and canyon was written. It was nice and ominous, and makes me wonder if her magical powers are actually magical powers or an illusion.
Also yeah, that pov change was unexpected!
Can't wait for the next chapter!

This story holds an amazing amount of character development, and an interesting and original story that can be hard to find on this fandom. I would heartily reccomend this story to others, even though it's unfinished so far. This story deserves more love.

Its great to see you continue writing this story after finshing Healed!
I had an eye on it for some time, but only recently found time to also read it.

I have to say, that I am really not surprised to have found a story of comparable quality in forms of writing, stortelling and character development.
Best example of this would be Storm, who, as I think runs through a really nice and belivable development from stuck up IceWing to an empathic and really likable dragon, whose story I want to further follow in the future.
Carcal and Oryx are two really cute additions to this and I also quite like how Storm warmed up to them.
Another really belivable and story enriching aspect is, as I believe Stroms little relationship with Canyon.
You manage its development supremely while not disrupting the story's flow but rather integrating it as a well thought out part.

I am quite thrilled to see the story continue and want to know, what strange animus stuff there is yet to be found :)

You are a great writer, I'll give you that. Exeptional, especially amongst WOF fics. I must congragulate you on taking your time with Storm and whatsitsname (the SkyWing) because relationships are commonly so rushed they might of been high-school crushes.
Watch out for spelling and grammer mistakes, because there are quite a few, but other than that, your writing is great; strong plot, diverse characters, mystery, intrigue, myths and legends.
Also, chpater 15 seems to appear in coding. You might want to fix that, because this is one of two WOF stories I truely enjoy, and I've browsed past hundreds.
Don't give up. Don't be afraid. Keep up the good work!
