![]() Author has written 16 stories for Lord of the Rings, Ocean Girl, Doctor Who, Harry Potter, and His Dark Materials. Greetings. I am a carbon-based life form of the species Homo sapiens sapiens who may or may not be descended from an ape, depending on your viewpoint. I inhabit a small part of a land mass on the planet Earth, located in the Milky Way Galaxy. I have hair, eyes, a nose and a mouth, four limbs and twenty digits. I like reading, writing and watching moving pictures, preferably with sound. Basically, I'm just like you. Unless you're bald or missing a few body parts, or male. I'm not into slash, except for Shoebox Project because it's well-written and convincing. It gives the relationship a believable backstory. And it's just too cute for words. I try to read and review your stories if you do mine and I know the fandom. However, I am a proud F7 nazi. Bad spelling and grammar REALLY annoy me. Bad spelling, grammar and punctuation (like no capitals) in a story title and/or summary is guaranteed to turn me off your story as soon as I see it and I'm sure that goes for others too. Don't do it. Same for consistent mistakes in the first chapter. If you can't pick them up yourself, use a word processor with a spellchecker you can run over the story before posting or get someone in the know to beta-read it, it isn't hard. You might even learn something. I may well review and tell you to clean up your act, if I think the story has potential--so consider it a compliment. Quotes!! "The most important parts of a story are the beginning, the end and the part in between. All the rest will take care of itself. Look at it this way. A story is made of words. Words is made of letters. Now you got 26 letters to choose from, so all you gotta do is mix up those letters the right way and you got the best story ever written. I'm going to mix letters like no one ever mixed 'em before." |
