Author has written 16 stories for Chocolat, Red Dwarf, Misc. Books, Young Ones, Mighty Boosh, Doctor Who, British Comedy, Black Books, Blackadder, and Sense and Sensibility. I'm 21, female, Australian and I love to write. I've been writing fanfiction for about a year and a half. I hope you enjoy them. I want to urge everyone to write fanfictions on british comedies! We need more of them, particularly for the more 'obscure' shows. Now for a little about me. I am attempting to write several novels, and several original long short stories. (some may say very original!). I love british comedies, and 'unique' comedies from anywhere, I love MASH, and a lot of books. I'm also a dollhouse miniaturist and I love to sing. If anyone here loves comedies, and funny stuff in general, I'd LOVE it if you looked at and joined if you're interested, my yahoo group. It's my homepage link. I get the ideas for most of my stories from a lyric, quote, or random thing I heard someone say. I hear a line and a story just 'comes' to me. Well, usually anyway! I really hope to get reviews on them, they are my practice for my novels. My Stories ( possible spoilers for the movies/shows/books ahead as well as my stories) Freedom on the Wind: From the movie and novel Chocolat. This is a very short story about Vianne's (sp?) thoughts as she is about to throw her mother's ashes to the wind, letting her mother continue to follow the North Wind in its travels. Lickety Split: I love Red Dwarf, andI hope this demonstrates it. I also hope that people find it amusing. It's about Rimmer, as a softlight hologram, trying to start his revision for his exam. Again. A Love Hate Relationship: This one is about The Borrowers. I was very surprised there isn't an actual section for The Borrowers, but there you go. There isn't one. If there is, tell me, lol. This one i wrote at one am, it's hardly changed at all, i didn't edit it much. Cold Shadows and Inspiration: I loved the book this is based on. It's by a great writer, Catherine Jinks. She was born in Australia and is now in Canada as far as I know. This was a fairly hard story to write, so i hope you like it. Time Of Your Life: Based on Isobelle Carmody's novel "Scatterlings". If you can get it, you should. A very short piece, based on a song. I am in the process of writing other stories. I love reviews! If it is a decent constructive criticism point, i will listen to you, but pointless flaming, I will ignore. Good comments, i will love you. :P I love reviews because i don't really know what i am doing, and need encouragement sometimes. So if you like what you read, tell me. |
