AU: When Queen Ingrith dares to suggest she would be a better mother for Aurora than Maleficent, it isn't Maleficent who has the big outburst, but rather, it is Aurora, who is just as protective of Maleficent as Maleficent is of her. And then later, when a guard makes the same mistake with Diaval, Aurora is just as quick to defend him too.

Maleficent has had a bad feeling all night, and cannot seem to place what is wrong. However, it soon occurs to her that something is awry with her dearest Beastie. Legends said that those who dabbled in magic would find the magic intertwining itself with them just as much as they intertwined with it. Even though the world knew Aurora was 100% human, her resemblance to Maleficent could just be so uncanny at times. The world couldn't help but wonder if the girl wasn't part fairy after all.

Conall tells Maleficent that all Dark Fey are descendants from the Phoenix. They come from her cinders and ashes. This leaves Maleficent to wonder what creatures come from the Phoenix's light and fire. If she represents the dark side of the Phoenix, who is her other half that represents the light? Well...

All it took was a party in Stark Tower for Natasha and Steve's lives to change completely. Romanogers.

When Loki is brought back to Asgard his magic is removed and he is condemned to solitary confinement under Asgards dungeons. Thor couldn't explain why he needed to see Loki in the middle of the night, until he found him in the throws of a nightmare, and Loki finally tells him what happened to him in the year after he fell. No slash, just sappy bromance. Post Avengers.

An explosion rips through the previously quiet night. It takes Steve a moment to recover enough to think, but when he does, his first thought is for his team. He waits for Natasha's answer to round out the group. And waits.

Thor, Loki and the Warriors Four are hunting when they are attacked by unknown men. When Thor makes an irresponsible, impulsive decision, it is Loki who pays the price. Can Thor save his brother? NO SLASH!

It is wrong, and Thor cannot help it.

When Thor returned Loki to Asgard, Odin found magic in Loki's mind that had been influencing him, and began a process to remove it. The night before Loki will be completely free, Thor visits a very lost feeling Loki, and preforms his role as older brother. Post Avengers. No slash.

Through the jumbled, broken strings that used to be his sanity - perhaps his Loki was still there.

All Loki knew anymore was hatred. It was all he believed he was capable of giving and receiving. Thor was going to prove that belief wrong. Post Avengers. No slash intended. Somewhat angsty.

At night, or whenever I was allowed rest, I would wrap my arms around myself and imagine that it was Thor who was holding me, that he was there next to me, that he was the one cleaning my bleeding wounds and soothing away the pain. And for a moment, my cell would not feel as cold as it did before. Thor/Loki
