But Natsume and Ruka start to fall in love with the girl they are supposed to kill! How will Persona react? Will Natsume's and Ruka's friendship end from the rivalry for the human girl?

I thought of this fanfic when I was on a balcony at my house actually. I was thinking, What if Natsume and Ruka just fell from the sky in front of my house... Then I began to think that it would be cool if Natsume and Ruka were bodyguards from another dimension to protect a normal girl with no alice.

When I first drafted for this story in May, I was planning to make Natsume and Ruka to be sent from the Alice World to save Mikan's life from demons trying to attack her. However, when I thought about it, it didn't really make sense because there are no demons in the Human World. Also, Persona wasn't the type to send someone to "protect" another. So then I changed it to what it is now.

To be honest, I wasn't even sure of what the reason for Persona's want to kill Mikan was until around chapter five or six. Half of me was too lazy to think about it until then.

Lucy Heartfilia has always lived thinking that her life was the exact definition of perfection. She had a loving father, caring childhood friend, Natsu to fangirl over, and perfect grades. But one day, she learns that her so-called perfect life was a lie. Natsu Dragneel is the school's idol. As a young child, his father passed away early, turning his loving mother into a drunkard.

I thought of this fanfic when I was re-watching Fruits Basket. I began to feel sorry for the fangirls of Yuki Sohma. Then I thought about all the other animes I watched. Sure, most of them had this awesome guy or girl and his or her fangirls or fanboys, but those fans never got to be with the idol at the end. Then I thought, I feel bad for them... They never get their true loves... That was when I sparked the idea for this story. Why not just make a fanfic on a president of a fangirls' club perspective?

For Natsu Dragneel, I made the cliche pretty boy is actually a monster story. In the beginning, I wasn't thinking about using his perspective in the story, but then I thought, why not? Also, some parts of the story seemed to be better if I wrote it in his perspective.

When I first drafted for the story, I was going to make it a one-shot, but as I kept on writing, I kind of got addicted to this story so I'm making it a normal fanfic. I apologize to those who were looking forward to my next fanfic, A Knight's Vengeance. I promise I will write it soon (maybe by 2015). Also, I changed the title along the way. In the beginning, I was going to focus the story on Lucy being a fangirl, which was why it was titled Fangirls Never Win. However, now I have changed the main focus of the story, which is why I changed the title to The Immortal Princess.

Natsu and Lucy are childhood friends that despise each other. Every day, they would get into arguments just by looking at each other in the eye. There seemed to be no way they could fall in love, much less be friends. However, one day, Lucy finds out Natsu's biggest secret that could damage his reputation as the school's idol forever, that he still enjoys playing the piano.

I was thinking about writing a one-shot for a really long time. The problem was, I couldn't think of a plot to write about. Then I heard a piano playing River Flows in You while I was texting a couple of friends. That was what sparked an idea for this story. I decided to make an anonymous website called FT Chat where Natsu and Lucy would meet online, despite already knowing each other as childhood friends. Then I thought, why not make them loathe each other and then find a common interest that brings them together?

Actually, I was going to make them in love with each other online throughout the whole story instead of having them starting to fall in love with each other in reality. However, as I wrote, I kind of changed that to go with the flow of the story.

So I reread my first fanfic, The Human World, a couple of times and noticed how it was not detailed at all. And the first few chapters look like a script, which is not ideal for a story! So I decided to rewrite the story! This story is not going to be exactly the same as the first version. I am adding more details and a slight change to the storyline. The ending will be similar, however!

The biggest change in this version is that this whole story will be in first person, which means you can read what the characters are thinking throughout the story. I hope you will give it a chance and read it!

He was a commoner. I was part of the upper class. My parents always told me never to hang out with a "dirty" boy like him, but I did anyway. As time passed, the childish friendship began to develop into something more... something that made my heart throb and turned me crazy. I fell in love with Natsu Dragneel. This is our love story.

This story is very important to me. I spent very long on it, even though it was only a couple of words. It took about two weeks to write, and then another week to revise it. I reread it countless of times for any grammar mistakes, so hopefully there weren't any.

This true story is not entirely true. It is mostly, but I made some small changes. But since it is based on a true story, the plot is the same. I did change the ages, though. This all actually happened when "Lucy" was at a much younger age, not eighteen. But I thought that it would be a much too young age to write about, so I changed it.

I don't want to release any information about what actually happened, so please forgive me for this poor explanation on how I came up with the story. I hope you understand.

Sometimes, not every guy you meet is perfect. I, Lucy Heartfilia, learned that the hard way. I never thought falling in love would be this hard. I didn't think these feelings would last even after ten years. I didn't think of the consequences at all. My feelings still linger and... it still hurts. I still love you… Natsu.

This story is actually very important to me as well. The first chapter was based on my own personal experience. This was originally a one-shot ending at where Lucy cries because she is still in love with Natsu, but I got reviews asking me to continue it. I deleted the original story of this for a couple of months and re-uploaded it once I finished The Immortal Princess.

I used my experience of hurt from love this story. I decided to use it to maybe trigger more emotion. When I write stories, I do like to use personal experience so I can trigger the feelings of the reader more.

Eighteen-year-old Lucy Heartfilia, a dying girl who longs to be normal and have a future, always knew that she had terrible health since birth. But she ends up falling in love with a perfectly healthy boy, Natsu Dragneel, who is quite the daring and confident boy, dying his hair bright pink. She yearns to be with him; however, knowing that starting a relationship with no future would only cause pain, she can only watch him from afar.

This story is partially based on a true story. "Lucy" is not actually eighteen. She is a little younger and still in high school. I can't say what events were true and which were not because it is a bit personal. I'm really sorry about that.

I wrote this to let people know how precious life really was and how we should appreciate it more often. I wanted people to push themselves to the farthest they could go, so when death eventually neared, he or she would have no regrets. In short, this story was made to encourage those with healthy lives to live to his or her fullest.

I was seven years old when I lost my parents who were captured and executed during the war with our country's enemy kingdom. So I, Lucy Heartfilia, have sworn to complete one goal ever since that day. I would take revenge. I would kill the enemy kingdom's prince, the only heir to the throne, and ruin their kingdom. Yes, I would assassinate His Highness Prince Natsu Dragneel.

This story came to me as an idea in a really odd way. In the beginning, when I was imagining this story, I was going to make Natsu Lucy's classmate in Knight Academy. He was going to be a bully, teasing Lucy because she was a female. Basically, he would have Elfman's role in chapter one (the guy that got beat up by Lucy during the first practice match). But then it came to me. Why not make Lucy an assassin trying to kill Natsu for revenge instead? It would definitely make a much more interesting plot!

So I made Lucy a little back story about her parents. But I thought that just that wasn't enough. I needed something more. And that was when I thought that maybe I should make the prince (Gray) of her kingdom in love with her! You know, just to add a little flare to the story.

I actually thought of the idea of this story around late 2013. I am very thrilled that I can finally start writing this story.

When I first sat next to her, I thought that she was beautiful. Her golden hair and her warm eyes entranced me. So I introduced myself. To my surprise, she told me that she recognized me… as the dorky guy who took forever in front of the microwave during lunch. I was remembered as the microwave man by the cutest girl at school. What a great first impression.

This story is based on my friend's story about her crush. He was just the average not-so-popular guy with this weird bob-cut (a horrible haircut that covered half his face) until suddenly, the next school year, he cut his hair short and gelled it up. Instantly, he became really popular with the girls, but he was still super awkward and shy because he was never a popular guy (this was so funny to watch every day). When my friend saw him in class, she didn't recognize him at all until he mentioned the microwave incident, which was very embarrassing. Eventually they got to be really good friends and she ended up having a crush on him. And the story basically explains what happened, just the genders switched. I found this interesting so I wanted to write it down as a story.

I switched gender roles because I felt like it. There wasn't really a specific reason.

I actually got this story from a dream I had a few weeks ago. It was an interesting dream, so before I forgot it, I wrote it down on my phone. The original dream was similar to this story, where "Wendy" fell down a tree, except in my dream it was more brutal (she fell on a brick wall and cracked her head). But I didn't want to be so graphic so I just said that she fell without much detail. Everything else was pretty similar.
