Author has written 35 stories for Silmarillion, and Lord of the Rings. I seem to be gathering quite a few stories now about my rather crazy elves and all stories are interlinked, except the Condensed Silm which is stand alone, and Fire Dancing Upon Our Souls which is a sequel to Finfinfin's "Darkness in Your Heart" i thought I had better give a recommended order of reading as they do work better if you know what has been going on beforehand. Darkness Series: Fire Dancing Upon Our Souls A Love Unspoken All of You Beware the Starless Midnight Alone in the Light Even the Birds Are Chained to the Sky Running to Find the Sun A Long Neglected Conversation The Mariner Even the Darkest Night Will End Paradox After Sunset Comes the Dawn And Order of Reading for the others: A Song for My Beloved: Maglor and Erestor get together. Stranger in a Strange Land: Glorfindel struggles somewhat with his rebirth. Trichomania: The original story. Glorfindel has some hair problems. Because He killed Fingon: The Maedhros Incident: these are both Silmarillion spin offs of Trichomania. Culture Shock: Legolas ventures into Imladris for the First time. Deep and Meaningful: Legolas and the Twins in Mirkwood. The Last Time: A brief Legolas/ Elrohir oneshot before the departure of the Fellowship from Imladris. Bitter Loving: Legolas gets some wise advice from Erestor on coping with immortality, oneshot. The Coronation:The ELves arrive en mass in Minas Tirith for the Coronation. Then: The Walls of Glass Series. This series can be read independently of the others. Walls of Glass: A rather more serious story about the consequences to all of a traumatic attack. Walk Beside Me: Elladan deals with Legolas alone in Minas Tirith. That Wondrous Song: Elladan and Legolas can connect through their sea longing...but what happens when Legolas has met the end of his endurance. The Ties That Bind Us: Can Legolas survive without his sea longing? And can Elladan survive with it? The Condensed Silm is separate from all of these so you can read it whenever! Before you read Fire Dancing Upon Our Souls I recommend reading Finfinfin's Hands of the King and Darkness in Your Heart. and that's all...I think" |
