Author has written 2 stories for Harry Potter. Too Bad I never finished my stories...i really liked the ideas behind them but never had the time to write. Seems a bit pointless now that all the books are out so the stories are a little out of date... For those of you who cared... Rags of Time: Many reviewers commented that the 3rd chapter didn't fit in the standard...Harry goes back in time fic. Thats because that wasn't what it was supposed to be. The idea was that the marauders would start reading the book, get to the part where they find out Sirius betrayed James and Lily to Voldemort and stop, throwing the book under the bed. James would stop speaking to Sirius whilst he tried to work out whether or not to believe it...Sirius would be confused. So confused he didnt understand how that could happen so he'd find a spell to take himself to the future to find out why this happened. James would steal it and go in his stead. Meanwhile Peter would have taken and read the ending to the book. Knowing it was in fact he who betrayed James. Whilst this was happening in the past, Harry was depressed in the future. As you saw in the 2nd chapter, he's starting to make objects disappear, and they're turning up...like the book...in the past. eventually he himself is transported. At the same time James comes forward. The main part of the fic was supposed to be the two boys trying to live each other lives, each chapter parallelling another, such as the two trying to play each others quidditch positions, and trying to excell in each others favourite classes. In experiencing the hardships of harry's life, James was going to grow up. And by going back, Harry would be able to forgive himself for his godfathers death and, through his quieter behaviour, start a friendship with Lily. In the end, Voldemort was going to work out that he had no connection with the current "boy who lived" and try to find him in the past. not sure what would have happened but Wormtail was going to redeem himself by saving Harry, suggesting at this point that he did really care about his friends. However, as Harry leaves again following Voldemort back to the future for the final battle, the marauders would go to Dumbledore, asking for their memories to be wiped...the future had to happen for the "greater good". Very cheesy yes? Ha! Hereditary Talents Truth be told I never really had an ending for this one. Well...i did when i started it. they were all going to be his children and kind of together they were going to reunite Hogwarts and help their dad defeat Voldemort once and for all. But it was a bit too cheesy for my liking so i got bored of writing it. Sorry if this is a crap solution to the 'mystery' Ha! I wonder if anyone ever reads these things, Take Care, xxxxx |
