I’ve lost count the numbers of times I’ve re-read this story. It’s by far one of my favorites and even though i known this conversation between Harry and McGonnegall is coming it still manages to make me tear up. The idea that see checks on her student each night will forever be one my top head cannons and this scene will always be one of my favorite in FanFiction.

OMG, the nicknames are so cringey, they make my stomach turn... Gods.. You could t have chosen something else, even shortened versions of their names would be better. I really want to look forward to the story but the horrid nicknames are making this story unbearable for me. I'll try to ignore the names for now, but damn do they suck ass.

So sad that there is no more. Wip's are so sad. This has such potential to be great. Pity!

I really liked the juxtaposition of 'normal' and the veterans you had going here. Neither side of this seemed overdone or static to me, allowing both sides and the interaction to have a nice sense of reality to it.

I'm sorry to see that you stopped writing after this chapter. Did you move to a new site?

I especially like the end of this chapter - it brings it all back to what I find interesting in this story.

I'm very curious how they might go about fitting in to a more peaceful reality after all they have been through and lost.

I almost skipped it after reading the blurb at the top, but I'm glad I didn't as I think I like what I see of your writing style.
