Hi everyone!

My name is MondayChardonnay, but you can call me Char. The name comes from a feeling you get when you've had a really really crappy Monday and you come home and just desperately need a glass of wine. I'm not a big Chardonnay drinker (I prefer the reds), but I couldn't resist the rhyme. Basically, it's the idea that a Monday Chardonnay is a way to unwind, relax, completely clear your mind, and just put all of the stress and craziness of life aside for the time it takes to do nothing more than drink a glass of wine (or read a story/watch a tv show/play with your dog - basically anything that can be a momentary respite from a trying day).

I'm fairly new to writing fanfiction, but I have been writing short stories and songs for most of my life. I am also currently working on a novel that may or may not ever get finished. Reading stories on this site is a major guilty pleasure for me and I finally had to start actually writing down some of the ideas that keep popping into my head. When you start dreaming about the characters, it's time to let them out to play.

Thank you so much for reading my stories, and for coming to check out my profile. Everything I've written so far is Harry Potter Next Generation. Somehow, all of my stories have ended up taking place in the same universe, which I have to say I'm kind of enjoying. I completed two multi-chapter fics, my Scorpius/Rose story, A Fine Line, and my James/OC story, Closets. I am currently working on an Albus/OC fic, A Game of Secrets. It also takes place in the same universe as A Fine Line, so there will of course be appearances from many of your favorite characters :)

At some point, I'm planning on adding some more Rose/Scorpius one-shots, but who knows when that will happen. Unfortunately, my job has gotten very demanding lately and I won't be able to post as often as I'd like. However, I can absolutely promise you that I will not abandon any story that I start. It may take me a little while to finish, but I will definitely finish.

For the curious, here is some more information about me...

-I live in New York City and am a proud American despite the fact that I am horrified at the way our country's political leaders have been behaving as of late

-I am half Irish and half Italian. Many of my relatives still live in Ireland so I have strong ties to that part of my heritage. And Italian food...enough said.

-Favorite Books (I am an avid reader so these tend to change depending on my mood): The Great Gatsby; Harry Potter; The Dark is Rising Sequence (If you like Harry Potter, I suggest that you try this amazing series by Susan Cooper.
