Hiya! AnimeAvarice here.

The animes I like are FullMetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Soul Eater, Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle, Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji), Ouran HS Host Club, Code Geass, Angel Beats, Durarara!! and Blue Exorcist (Ao No Exorcist), and a whole ton of other stuff.

As far as books go, FableHaven, Harry Potter, Skulduggery Pleasant, and The New Dragonlance Adventures along with Maximum Ride and Howl's Moving Castle (yes, it's a book).

My first FanFic, FullMetal Alchemist: the Second Generation, has kinda fallen into a pit, and most likely won't come out. (see update 2/13/13!!!)

However, if you know my work, you know that Black Butler and the Prisoner of Azkaban is doing pretty well. If you are a Harry Potter or Black Butler (Kuroshitsuji) fan and haven't read it yet, I would be honored if you gave it a shot.

I created my own profile pic, in case anyone was wondering. No, I don't really have purple hair or gold demon wings, but MAN would that be awesome!!

Getting this out of the way: I DO NOT WRITE YAOI OR YURI!! It's fine with me if you do, but don't ask me to write guy x guy or girl x girl. Sorry, but I'm REALLY not into that. (as of late Feb/early March of 2014, this statement is no longer valid. Curse you, Anime Club T-T)

I have been toying with the idea for starting to write romance stories, but as I'm typically not a very romantic person (as you could probably tell from the animes and books I like), it may not go so well. But I'll try it anyway! (see update 2/18/13)

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The cashier said, "I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll."

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?''

The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.''

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

"It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her."

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there."

His eyes were so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.''

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: "I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall."

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister."

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. "Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?''

"OK," he said, "I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: "Thank you God for giving me enough money!"

Then he looked at me and added, "I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!''

"I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.''

"My mommy loves white roses."

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever... The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Update 1/23/13

I am truly sorry to the people who are/were following FMA: the 2nd Gen., but as I said above, I probably won't continue writing it.

However, my other story, Black Butler and the Prisoner of Azkaban, is doing pretty well.

Also, if you like Durarara!! or Percy Jackson and the Olympians or both, check out my latest project: The Next Olympians. I promise I won't quit the Black Butler/Harry Potter crossover though.

Hello, people of FanFiction! I am proud to announce that my collaborative author on a few of my stories now has... an official account!

Yes, that's right! You heard it here first folks; Crystal12345 is now an official name on FanFiction whom is writing what I believe to be a Harry Potter/Twilight/H2O crossover and a Percy Jackson/Harry Potter crossover. Hopefully, she wasn't trying to surprise anyone with those.

You all get 2 pieces of virtual cake, as I will state in ch. 8. I mean it though. I never once imagined that so many people would think of my writing as that good. I've even met one of my viewers in real life (SO COOL!!!!). You have all made this young author very pleased. :D

Hides under desk* Heh. Heh. Hello, everyone... So, um, AnimeAvarice here and- *falls to knees* PLEASE OH PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!! My last chapter of Black Butler and the Pris of Azkaban was kinda... um... I wrote it at 10:30 at night after a very long, eventful day. Yeah. Okey, so, I do apologize for that.

BUT! I have good news (for me but whatever). BB and the P of A has officially gotten... 11,000 views!!!!! Actually, when I checked, it was more like 11,14-something. Thank you guys so so so so much!!!! You really have absolutely NO idea how much that means to me. I've always wanted to be an aspiring writer, but at the age I am and with the attention span I have... yeeeeah...

BUT! (I'm doing that a lot now, aren't I?) To show my mega-appreciation, I give you all a big slice of virtual cheesecake! (If you don't like cheesecake, I give you the ability to turn it into something else). I will be putting this message on the ninth chapter of BB and the P of A. Thank you all again!

ALSO! (Ha! Not "BUT" this time!) Because she'll lecture me about it later if I don't advertise (Just kidding), I've spoken of this before, but I started to write another FanFic *hides under desk again* and it is called "Blood United, House Divided (BUHD)." It is my first non-anime related fic, and while not doing nearly as well as BB, well, I enjoy writing it. Regulus!!! Severus!!! Squeeee!! *clears throat* My apologies. Mini-fangirl moment there. My friend Crystal12345 and I are writing a crack-fic based off BUHD called "Friends at Hogwarts"
I won't lie. It's streight up comedy and senseless comedy. Yeah, it's not bad for a crackfic and it can be really funny if you like that genre. But if you prefer my more dramatic stories like Love Beyond Tears and (ironically enough) Blood United, House Divided, errrr... yeah. NOOOO drama whatsoever. Just a precaution.

XDK: Hello all. I am in a severely bad mood today. Why? BECAUSE YOUTUBE HAS DECIDED TO BE THE BIGGEST [insert curse word here] ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET. TWO OF MY AMVs HAVE BEEN DELETED BECAUSE OF F-ING COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT!!!!! WTF YOUTUBE?!?!?!?! IT'S FAIR USE DAMMIT!!!!!! *Seething with anger*

*clears throat* But anyways. My account is one copyright strike away from being terminated. WHAT THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO DO?!?! I CAN'T DISPUTE IT BECAUSE I DON'T OWN ANGEL BEATS OR FMA, BUT IT'S FAIR FREAKING USE!!!!! I'm scared to dispute it because I really don't wanna be sued. That would be a tough one to explain to my parents...

Update 4/23/14

(Dear, sweet Alchemy I haven't updated in a while...)

Alrighty, hey all! AA here to clear something up:
1. I'm not dead
2. I'm not dying/on my deathbed
3. I'm not on the run from the cops, government, aliens, time travelers, espers, or anything else.
4. Is the number of death. Oh yeah, and I'm not having any life-threatening diseases that won't allow me to update my FanFics.

So, why, you may ask, is she not freaking updating? Well, good readers, that depends... Do you want shizzy reason 1, pathetic excuse 2, or lame alibi 3?
I have absolutely no reason for not updating than this: I really don't want to.

Now, before you go signing my death petition, here's why (though you'll probably still want to sign my death petition): I unwittingly wrote myself into a conflict in Black Butler and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Chapters 4 and 12 have flashbacks and, when read side by side, make no sense. They conflict each other. The thing is, I really don't wanna go back and fix them because I'm not sure how. I'm running out of ideas for everything except my ending, which I'm still editing and re-editing in my head. I'm not really sure where I'm supposed to go with the flashbacks... (Thank you to my awesome, unofficial beta reader for notifying me of this. I swear I'm not even reading what I write sometimes...)

Anyways, I'm going to be finishing BB and the PoA eventually as promised, but... don't hold your breath. You'll probably pass out. All other stories are on hiatus. Eh heh.

(PS: Signing death petitions is a dangerous thing. You never know when an apple-loving shinigami is involved...)

Update 6/3/14

AWWWWWWW YEAHHHH! It's SUMMER!!!! WOOOOOO! And I'm sick with a cold.

Alrighty, so now that school is out, I can concentrate on important things like finishing my FanFictions. At least, that was the plan until Fate decided to laugh in my face (or Chance pushed a button; inside joke) and I got sick. I'm having a tough time concentrating, but I will try to sort out those two flashbacks and write Chapter 14 of BB and the PoA before (I know I'm going to regret saying this later) school starts again in August. As for my other FanFictions, here is the list of the way I will most likely continue them unless some spontaneous event happens and I get abducted by aliens:
-Rival Game
-The Next Olympians
-Blood United, House Divided (if I continue it)

Also, I have scrapped Love Beyond Tears as I have absolutely no where to go with it. Yeah, there's writing yourself into a box, and writing yourself into a black hole; I managed to do neither, and wrote myself out of the time-space continuum.

Thank you for putting up with my rambling and please don't lose faith in me! I WILL update! Eventually...

Update 2/14/16

...So I'm not dead.

Yeah, achem, oops? I have to confess a few things:

-Life suddenly got very hard, very fast. I'm not nearly as much of an active writer as I used to be, and I'm mostly doing original fiction when I do write. That being said, I think this second point needs to discuss my stories.

-In their current forms, I doubt I will continue my stories. Now, that doesn't mean I won't re-vamp them. Black Butler and the Prisoner of Azkaban, as been pointed out by both my reviewers and myself, has enough plot holes to be a cheese grate. Going back on the first few chapters, I have trouble reading them. I will most likely re-write the story, as I do like the crossover. However, even the ending I had planned for it made absolutely no sense so back to the drawing board.

-I won't be back long. I have to admit that I felt an insane amount of guilt at suddenly vanishing. If anyone actually manages to read this, it's nothing more than an announcement that a) I'm still alive and b) I will hopefully come back at some point to rewrite my stories.
