![]() Author has written 16 stories for Fairy Tail, and My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア. Find me also Tumblr: mistye-dawne deviantArt: Lady-Luck03 Welcome and thanks for stopping by! Now I’m horrible at writing about myself so bear with me and I'll try not to make this awkward. My name is Mistye and I'm very new to posting fanfiction. I’ve been reading the stuff for years and have written several things as merely practice, but have never posted any of it. In fact, the only place I’ve ever posted anything I've written is on deviantArt, and those are all original works. My Tumblr is also posted above if any of you find me worthy enough to follow. A little about my background in writing: Well, I’ve been practicing the trade for nearly a decade now. I graduated with a BA in Professional writing, and acquired minors in Creative writing, and Organizational Leadership & Supervision. I currently work as an ESL teacher, writing tutor, and freelance writer when I find something of interest. If it's not obvious, writing is my life. It's what I love doing and I think that I'm pretty good at it so why not make a living doing it? It's tough and while I know I could easily find a job that pays more and is more steady than what I currently do, I'm happy where I'm at. That might change in the future but I'll cross that bridge when it's time. Creative writing has been and still is a personal pastime of mine, but I do hope to make it a professional one someday. I'd like to one day publish my own work but that project is a slow one. More than anything though, I want to go back to college and continue my education so that I can teach others how I've been taught over the years. The literature classes were always my favorite and I love to read, write, and teach so I think I'd enjoy work like that. The most important thing to know about me as a creative writer is when I start something, I always finish it. So if you decide to follow me please know that I have a lot of ideas (some already complete, others still sitting in my head) and that I will eventually get to them all. Most of the time I can only work on one project, sometimes I can work on multiples, so you'll usually see me only updating one story until it's complete. When I have the inspiration to write I will update regularly. When I don't have that inspiration, I won't update. Simple as that. The best way for me to know that you, as readers, want me to update is leaving a review on my work. Even if it just says that you like the story and can't wait for more, it would mean the world to me to see that. It's takes no more than 30 seconds but it really does make a writer's day when they see their work being talked about. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope to see you again! |
