Hm. Well.

I wasn’t happy with ME3, nor the prospect of ending the story just as it was getting interesting, so I finally took the plunge and started writing myself. The story even seems to be reasonably well-liked, for which I’m very happy and grateful. Love you all :)

In addition to the main story, Unity, there’s also a recent entry into expanding the universe via short vignettes, Coherence, as well as a short spin-off about two little asari girls in the aftermath of the war, Watch Over Her—and, of course, my scholarly text about the asari that I need to get around to updating with new parts. Soon!

UPDATE: I’ve mentioned it to a few people, so here goes:

I loved writing Unity.

That said, I’ve many times wanted to continue the story… but I’m afraid it’s probably too late now and still be able to do it justice. It would take considerable effort to get back into the story and the plans I had, and I don’t know if I’d have it in me even assuming there were more than a handful of people still interested in reading. I guess I’d rather leave it good and something that could have been great rather than risk taking the good and ruining it with a half-hearted effort.

And *that* said, nothing is ever out of the question. Right now I’m kind of interested in starting a DA:I fic, and who knows… if I get back into the swing of things, maybe I’ll find the muse for ME again too.
