RPG Grrrl chapter 2 . 3/19/2013
So lonely, and yet has to be so strong... beautiful 3
thebluninja chapter 2 . 2/28/2013
You do a really good job of showing just how creepy and alone the Reaper aftermath must be. I'm assuming this is Destroy ending, but I look forward to seeing more!
Full-Paragon chapter 1 . 1/26/2013
Ouch, I take it this is a little one hiding from reapers? This is why I can't do anything but destroy.
Aeternix chapter 2 . 1/21/2013
The dreary atmosphere and dark setting is really well realised here. I can understand everything that is going on and your chapters are paced perfectly in terms of coherence and logic. Uska is an interesting character, someone so young thrust into this horrid world, trying to act like her mothers. Even when she tried to use a biotic power I felt for her, the self inflicted injury by her stubborness to be more in control was a very human moment and I really found it fascinating.
The writing was excellent and Uska's internal thoughts were perfect for someone this young. My only comment towards your writing is when you captalise things seemingly randomly. "it was Dead Silent." I'm not sure whether that's something she considers as a person, or a place or if its just emphases. It seems a bit odd, though I will admit that if there's a deeper meaning to it I would love to see what it is. Could be a really cool thing going on there that I don't know about.
Overall, well done. I look forward to seeing more about this young girl and her quest into adulthood on the backdrop of the aftermath of the Reaper War.
Vergil1989 the Crossover King chapter 2 . 1/21/2013
Holy carp. That's all I can think to say at the moment since this was almost a tear jerker of a story.
LegionN7 chapter 1 . 1/20/2013
I think that was a very spot-on portrayal of a child's point of view. Very descriptive, very coherent. I'll be reading more
Aeternix chapter 1 . 1/20/2013
Interesting. I'm always intrigued by stories that look at the post Reaper war and I'm even more interested when it is from the perspective of another species, or just another character that you've created.
Now where to start, ah yes, I like you're writing style for the girl. The way you describe things is very childish and that comes across well when you are following the little girl. On a side note, I doubt you can really change this because this chapter is mostly description, but its sometimes difficult to read really large blocks of text (I'm guilty of this as well). It's a really really small complaint but its just something to think about.
Uska is an interesting character and in surprised she hasn't lost her innocence yet, her mothers' departure was quite brutal and I'm glad she's still hanging onto her childhood (however long that can last at least on a devastated Thessia).
One other small comment is when you call the omni-tool an om-ni-tool, I'm guessing that's because of the childish nature if our protagonist, but if you didn't intend to do it like that, I'll just point it out :P.
Overall an interesting dive into post-war Thessia. In interested in reading more.

When I read this in Unity, I felt so sad for Uska, but failed to see hiw it would fit within Unity. I'm glad you are making this its own story and am looking forward to how this plays out.
