Deadeye was born in Fillydelphia, his mother died at childbirth and his father left for unknown reasons. After living in an orphanage for six years, where he got into many fights, he left and wandered to join the Royal Guard. He was taken in the guard despite his young age. He trained until he was eighteen at which time he received full commission as a solar guard. A year later the griffons invaded Equestria. Deadeye was handpicked by Colonel Striper for the COLT supersoldier program. Deadeye was one of few who survived training in COLTS Class 001. Deadeye is ruthless and quick to anger but does care for the lives of his soldiers. He is the strongest pony in all Equestria and is possibly the best fighter given his history. Deadeye is a skilled swordsman and hand to hand combat fighter. He is also a very skilled fireteam leader, placing his soldiers lives above his own.

Growing up with all brothers in the poor areas of Stalliongrad. Autumn Leaf frequently got into many fights with his brothers and numerous gangs. Autumns father was killed in an accident leaving his mother to raise him and his brothers on her own. Autumn was not very wealthy and often resorted to stealing things such as clothes or food because his family couldn't afford it. Autumn did poorly in school and was kicked out with his brothers. Autumn's mother eventually was able to open a restaurant where Autumn and his brothers worked to help bring in money. When the war started, Summer and Spring Leaf, Autumn's older brothers, enlisted in the Equestrian Army. When Autumn was of age, he bested his brothers by joining the Marines. He was eventually picked to be a COLT super soldier. Cocky and arrogant, Autumn is the generic asshole of the team. Often making sarcastic and snide remarks to his team mates and enemies. Despite this, Autumn still cares for his teams safety and wouldn't hesitate to put himself in harm's way to help them. Autumn is one of the stronger COLTs and is skilled with spears and his trusty dagger.

A hard working farm pony. Big Macintosh quit school at a young age to help support his family on Sweet Apple Acres after his parents died in a tragic fire. He is known for his brute strength and quiet demeanor. He willingly enlisted in the Equestrian Marines and shortly after was picked for the COLT supersoldier program. He is strongest COLT after Deadeye. He is skilled in hand to hand combat, archery, and non-lethal interrogation. Big Mac is one of the softer ponies of the group, he personally hates the idea of war and killing but does so to keep his family safe. He often acts as the conscience of COLTS Omega when the others are out for blood.

Living up to his name, Solar Blitz is the fastest pony in Equestria with top sprinting speeds rivaling the Wonderbolts. Born in an apartment in Manehattan, Blitz's father was never home due to long work hours. Blitz is extremely close with his sisters and mother, the four often stayed up for hours playing and telling jokes. Blitz lived far from his school so he always ran everywhere as a young one. Running everywhere is what gave him his great speed. Blitz's father was MIA when the war started and he quickly enlisted in the Marines much to his family's dismay. He is a talkative happy pony who is always cracking harmless jokes. Blitz is naturally kind but will kill if his life or the life of another is threatened. While not as strong as his comrades, what he lacks in strength he makes up for in speed. Blitz is often the 'comic relief' for the team. He always looks on the brighter side and always offers a helping hoof. He is skilled with dual swords.

As his name describes, Silent Shadow is a quiet and shy pony. His family owned a Saloon on the frontier town of Appleloosa. He had trouble making friends due to his quiet demeanor and was often ganged up on due to his inability to fight. He enjoyed playing with his brothers and father. When Appleloosa was attacked by the griffons, his father and older brother were killed. Shadow and his younger brother fled to Las Pegasus. Shadow eventually returned to the ruins of Appleloosa and set up a makeshift base in the ruins of his family saloon. Wearing a bandana he silently slipped out and silently killed any griffon who had been unfortunate enough to run into him. Shadow quickly became known as the Ghost of Appleloosa. Despite killing Griffons, Shadow is a very kind and sensitive young stallion, he cares for all life in Equestria and often feels intense guilt for all the griffons he has killed. While not as strong or fast as the other COLTS, Shadow is the most agile and stealthy pony there is. He is skilled in long distance takedowns and close combat.
