Very good so far. As a proofreader, I must say that I'm supprised that you don't have one. Unless, of course, you do, and you haven't recognized him yet, and if that is the case then shame on you.
Your characters are portrayed very well, and you aren't afraid to do things that might alienate some of your readers. I admire that in an author.
This being said, I think that Luna was changing a little too fast. She took on flare/jack's personality traits a little too quickly for it to be realistic.
All in all, great story. I look forward to seeing what more you come up with.

Cupcakes. Cup...cakes...(hisss). That only gave me shakey hands when I read it, nothing too major. Sweet Apple Massacre, on the other hand...(couldn't finish reading that one).
So, obviously the character of Squall is based on Gibbs somewhat, going from the rules and 'never apologise' thing. Fair enough, as those seem to be the only similarities I can discern.

Fair enough on the chapter taking a while. Happens every now and then. And yes, I did catch that fanception thing. Is basing a character on yourself similar to that, or is it an entirely differant thing?
