Hi! I am It'sTheBatmanShirt and I am somewhat new to fanfiction. I've left a few reviews before as a guest under the name of "Somebody," and I've read more stories than I can count.

First off, my pen name. No, I will never reveal anything super personal about me, ex. my name or age. Anyway, it's a kind of a joke with me and my friends. I was in tap class one day and my teacher noted that our rolling shuffles (a tap step) were, for once, not a hot mess! In reply, because I happened to be wearing a batman shirt, I said "It's the Batman shirt." And everyone burst out laughing. So, yeah...

Some other stuff about me. I am a tried and true, 9-hours-a-week dancer. I take jazz, ballet, and tap classes. I used to do hip hop, but the teacher left. I love to read. Obviously. I think you have to love to read to be on this site.

Some of my favorite books:
Kiki Strike series, Skeleton Creek series, Beautiful Creatures series, Harry Potter series, If I Stay/Where She Went, Beautiful Disaster, Ranger's Apprentice series, and a whole bunch of other books that are on the bookshelves in my closet!

Currently, I am in love with the movie, Newsies. It's just...I love it! Also, I love Young Justice. Artemis is amazing, I love her!

Um, the Twilight situation. I used to love it, but then I realized that although she had a pretty good plot, there are some better books out there.

As for writing, I have half written some stories for years now, but I've found that my brain moves faster than my pen and I just get bored. I'm hoping this will be easier and more fun!

Currently, I am reading fanfiction. I've asked for a lot of books for christmas, but right now, fanfiction is good enough for me!

I think I covered everything...right? Oh yeah. I used to be on another site where I was called SoulSister. I was kind of emo there...yeah, not fun. I'm no longer active on that site...

I appreciate comments and criticism a lot, although I live by the motto of "If you can't say anything nice (or constructive), don't say anything at all." As for updates, when I finally write a story, I will try to be consistent, about once a week or every three days, I don't know yet. If you read above, I dance 9 hours a week! Plus school!

Angel and I were discussing the "plot bunnies" we were dealing with for our story and our friends heard us wrong...and we burst out laughing.

2. Verb: "Wait, who'd you kill?"

Me: "The prime minister of czech slovakia. Remember?"

Verb: "Oh yeah. You murdered him."

Verb: "Love?(1)"

Me: "Yes?"

Verb: "That's anomatically impossible."

Angel: "Not if you're Iggy!"(2)

Verb: "Wha? Huh?"

Me and Angel: (begin cackling hysterically)

(1) he calls me Love and I call him Whelp. We are big Pirates of the Carribean fans.

I meant to say presidency...but my brain thinks faster than my pen.

5. Me: (shaking my backpack around) "I got a jar of dirt. I got a jar of dirt. And guess what's inside it!"

Angel: "Dirt."

Random Friend: "A rock?"

Me: "How the heck do I have Iraq in my back pack?"

Random Friend: I said a rock...

Verb: Besides, that's geograhically impossible. And technically Iraq is already in a jar of dirt. It's called Earth."

This one is self explanatory.

6. "Oh come on boys! The girls are out-toughing you!"

Angel and I's English/Religion teacher during play rehearsal. The next 8 quotes all happened during that same rehearsal.

7. "He looks like Santa Claus. A brown, skinny Santa Claus."

Me: "We could gossip like a bunch of school girls-oh, wait, we are school girls."

Heheh, yeah...

11. Belle (reading from a script): "Once upon a time, there was a man named Jacob (1)"

Angel: "Did she just say there was a man named Chicken?"

(1) In case you were wondering, the role Verb was playing was Jacob.

It was in a book I was reading. I found it interesting because I hadn't seen the connection before. Angel and Verb just happened to be arguing.

Me. In science class. Where else?

Me. Also in science class. Weird stuff happens in science class.

Angel to me about the Newsies actors having weird roles besides the newsies they play. Example 1? Spot Conlon voices Littlefoot in The Land Before Time. 'Nuff said.

Me to my grandparents about the guys in my class and why I don't date them.

Me: *almost does a spitake* What?!

Lauren: You know, who's your boyfriend? Who do you have a crush on?

Me: *in a deadpan voice* Jack Sparrow.

Claire: Really? Where does he go to school?

Me: It's called...Tortuga?

Lauren: Where is it? Is it by ours?

Me: No, it's a charter school in the...Bahamas.

Claire: How often do you talk to him?

Me: Oh, you know, a couple of nights a week.

Lauren: Do you call him or does he call you?

Me: I...message him...on...Facebook.

Claire: *pulls up my FB profile* God, where's your friends list?!

Me: He's not actually on Facebook, I talk to him through his friend.

Lauren: What's his name?

Me: ...Gibbs.

Me: *tries not to laugh* I don't know. He doesn't really like talking to strangers.

Claire: I can't find this Gibbs guy on your friends list!

Me: Oh, I don't friend him, I just message him.

Claire and Lauren: *give me blank looks*
