I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The cashier said, "I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll."

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?''

The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.''

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly. The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

"It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her."

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there."

His eyes were so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.''

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: "I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall."

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister."

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. "Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?''

"OK," he said, "I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: "Thank you God for giving me enough money!"

Then he looked at me and added, "I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!''

"I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.''

"My mommy loves white roses."

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial. She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest. I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

1/6/12-okey smokes guys, here is what's going to go down, I'm starting to get to the point to where I won't be able to update 'Making Sense of it All' until I find mentors/guardians for both girls, so here's was up: In the coming weeks, I'm going to write one shots of all the people on my list of possible mentors interracting with Danny and Jojo. To vote on who you think u like them the best with, you review. Once I've posted all of these stories, whichever one has the most reviews will be used to pick the superstar for their mentors. 2/28/12-Alrighty, EK's oneshot was posted last night and next one to be up will be Bricksquadbaby's oneshot with Miz and her oc Tanielle!!!! 3/19/12-Chapter 6 of MSOIA almost done peeples!!!! And I'm also finally working on Saving the Enigma and Captive. And hell, the twinks' story has still yet to have a full paragraph...

3/30/12-Captive has FINALLY, been posted! Next up, chapter 18 of Torn Apart(posted on 450Airbourne's profile)!!!!! And I found this baby bird on our poarch the other day. He fell out of his nest on our roof. His sibling died in a few minutes, but this lil thing is stubborn as hell. He's still up and kicking. I've been feeding him, but other than that I don't know what to do with him. We can't reach the nest to put him back in. Any suggestions?

4/18/10-Gr. My computer died on me. We gotta go get it fixed...again...for the third time. I seriously need a new one. And the one I'm currently using(my mom's way better than my compaq, hp pavillion that has all the new updates and chiz) will have to settle, though I don't know how much this one could take of me being on it for such long periods of time...Continuing, working on MSOIA, the girls are po'd with me for double updating Captive. Oh well, they'll get happy in the same pants they got mad in. And as for the Twinks, I might call them eight year olds on steroids, but they are proving to be really patient, considering no progress has been made on their story. Growl, after MSOIA, I needa finish that.

4/20/12-1:03 in the damn morning. Listening to Mike Posner. Serge and Danny needa gimme a damn break with this chapter of MSOIA! Possibly the shortes update note I'll ever write...

5/31/12-WHERE THE FUCK IS MSOIA?! First, I get spammed by saying that MSOIA Mentors, One way Road was removed, then they spam me again saying it was a mistake and that it wasn't removed. Now a story that I've been working on since before I even got on FF is just gone? You have got to be fucking kidding me. I'm obviously gonna repost it, but these bitches need to seriously fix this damn site. Piss me the fuck off, I promies if it happens for a second time imma act the fool.

6/6/12-Okay, my laptop is broken again and despite my rant in Hostile Takeover, looks like I'll need a new one soon. Updates are gonna be slower than usual now. But on another note, I started rewriting MSOIA, and I promise I'm tryna make it better for you guys. So sorry again.

7/23/12-Aright, got my internet back and have returned to the land of ! Captive is almost done and I am literally like a paragraph away from reposting MSOIA. And the twinks and I...still have made no progress on their fic...

8/19/12-Yooooooooooo! Why aren't there ever any new messages in my outbox? Continuing, MSOIA is back up and running! And look out for a new fic, call it a collab if you will, a completely jacked the hell up one, but still a collab, that will prove to be quite...interesting to say the least.

9/8/12-FOR ALL THOSE CONCERNED: I promise, I am not going into one of my weird not really hiatuses but wiped of the face of the earth for months kind of things that I tend to go under. Marching band shit had me tied up, but the game's over, our team one, our band KICKED ASS and now I can sleep. Expect updates for New Fic: Like Mike, Making Sense of It All, Sticking Together(which is posted on LoopyLou1990's profile) and Captive(but the chapter itself depends on how well our dear AJ does in her first challenge, mwahahahahaaaaa!) Also, if you have ever, at any point asked me for a request and I have yet to write it, don't be shy to remind me. 11/10/12-I AM SO BEHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIND. I meant to post craploads of stuff this week, but lucky me, I caught the flu. I looked more like a heroin addict though considering it was pushing 80 degrees and I was shivering in my hoodie with earmuffs and gloves on...So hopefully, I'll get all that crap out this week; feel free to hit me up and bitch at me til I do too. So yeah, one of my freaky fuckin hiatu-not things actually turned into a hiatus this time and I've been M.I.A since April. 8 months. I'd blame Chris muse for the shit he caused when he came back home, but despite his fuck ups, this is my fault too. But, I'm here. MSOIA update today.
