I only discovered FanFic in 2010, searching for Forever Knight on video to watch. Soooo late to the party, but I began devouring it in large quantities. (Midnight shift with WiFi :-p )

When I ran out of FanFic to read, I had no choice but to start writing it.

I love to write, and love these characters, and am just thrilled there is a forum to continue their stories. Typing words is as essential to me as oxygen, whether it is journaling, reporting facts, or writing fiction.

Never one to be trendy, I have just discovered Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. Who doesn't love a somewhat fallen, dark hero with a heart of palladium? And of course another redhead.

I also love Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Dr. Beverly Crusher; Shakespeare in space. So much unresolved, and The Powers That Be made such a mess of it by just dropping their relationship in the movies.

Revisiting Han Solo and Princess Leia all these years later is a delight, they are so much *more* than what I understood at first love.

I strive to write FF which is as correct in syntax as any published work. I try to keep the characters honest to the Universe to which they belong. I fail at diverging from canon. Alternate Universes seem to be well beyond my reach.

I have been a Newsie, grip, gaffer, python wrangler,A1,A2, Director, TD, Assignment Editor, Producer and ND; a farmer, a waitress, a Police Officer, Crisis Intervention Team, and worked on the "powder" crew of a pipeline. (When we said 'fire in the hole,' things actually exploded.) Currently back on the air saving lives and calming the chaos in Emergency Communications. Which is the closest thing to the girl with the braids on the original Battlestar Galactica as you can get.

I'm old enough to know better, and young enough to hope.
