hello. i'm ashley. and this is what you need to know about me:

i love the x-files

1. i'm a shipper, as most are (and how could they not be?), and it tends to end well with me

2. you won't find any doggett or reyes in my fics (sorry, if that floats your boat)

3. if it takes awhile to get to happily ever after, then that's just how it goes

4. i live near chicago, so a lot of my influence comes from there: the people, the sights, the smells, the sounds, the love

5. i have a big family: four brothers, two sisters-in-law, three nieces, two nephews, a wonderful little puppy, and a partridge in a pear tree

6. my dad was working on a degree in french lit when i was learning to read so i can speak the language pretty well, as well as spanish because it is similar

7. i beat cancer when i was 11

10. there are a bunch of people on this website that have really been awesome to me and i have had the pleasure of having gotten to know them outside of their writing: julia (-san), rachel, and gillyfan, are all really good examples
